Chimera
Led by: Kasch, Eudoxia of Macedonia
Purpose and idea of the Province: While Chimera can also be used as a permanent home, those from the mainland who wish to better themselves can also come, spend a length of their lifespan in the province, then leave to return home. It is a province that focuses on training and bettering the wolves inside it through the use of volunteer teachers and participation in three categories of lessons and exercises. Any pack or province can outlaw the weak and only take the strong, but to take the weak and make them strong is a far more admirable way of survival.
The 'heads' of the Chimera, aka what each category of schooling is designed to improve:
Lion -- physical strength/intimidation/courage/passion
Goat -- flexibility/adaptability/hardiness/
Snake -- stealth/ruthlessness/intelligence
Lion -- physical strength/intimidation/courage/passion
Goat -- flexibility/adaptability/hardiness/
Snake -- stealth/ruthlessness/intelligence
Rules:
-- all original Macedonia rules are still in effect. If Chimera rules ever contradict Macedonia rules for whatever reason, follow the Macedonia ones.
-- All members, regardless of age, must report to group meetings/training and tell one way in which they've improved in any aspect since last meeting. They must then point to an IC happening (No going inactive, not attending threads, and saying OH I was training in the woods and got stronger). If anyone prefers, they can arrange for a private meeting with the Erus. Failing to do this four times will result in exile to the mainland and everyone knowing that you were thrown out for being a lazy ass.
-- Some ranks (will make more specific if I get the province) can volunteer to lead training of other province members. Students can attend who are both in a rank related to the session (i.e. a Eudoxia can attend a stealth training) or other ranks can attend to broaden their knowledge (i.e. the Althea coming to train with that Eudoxia). Wolves who do not have one of the specific ranks can mail the Erus with what they can do, and can get approved to teach a lesson. (I mean Macedonia ranks here..do we have province ranks? ) You must teach at least five sessions (threads) if you want to return to Macedonia's mainland as a graduate for re-evaluation. You must attend at least five as well.
-- alternately, wolves can also take on private students for tutoring. The student must be interested in their discipline. Wherever the instructor goes, the acolyte should follow, and if the instructor is ever unable to complete their job an acolyte can take over for them. This could be if they die or for other reasons (if people are in a training thread and the teaching wolf goes inactive, his acolyte can jump in and lead the thread). A teacher must take and train two acolytes minimum before attempting to return to the mainland for re-evaluation. A wolf needs to be a student of another at least once before attempting to return.
-- While individual improvement is emphasized, it is not considered improvement to sabotage a friend. Obviously it's sort of necessary in a spar, but deliberately and unnecessarily fucking up someone just to look better will result in exile. To the mainland, but Macedonia's welcome to exile you to the neutral lands if it wants.
-- Members of Chimera who feel that they have no room for improvement but don't want to stay in the province can return to the mainland and be interviewed for an appropriate rank for their new level. If nothing really changed, then your request for re-evaluation will be denied. You must have been a mentor to two acolytes minimum, taught five sessions minimum, attended five, and lived in Chimera for a realtime 4 months. If you're denied once, you can try again in a month minimum. If you're denied twice, you're in Chimera. period.
