How boring was the world when you could only sit in one spot for Praesidium knows how long. Narrowed eyes stared angrily at a small bug crawling in front of her with mild irritation. Sit there, Wait there, I got someone for you to meet. Always something she had to do to please her mother. Well what if she didn't want to sit there? What if she wanted to go off exploring or annoy Julia. Levana grumbled, clearing not liking the fact Sin had told her to sit there. She was no slave! That was what these older wolves were for. She wanted to go explore the jungle of her kingdom. She was a Princess and Princesses rule the world not do things their mother's wanted them to do. The small child stuck out her lower lip pouting. If she left, she would get into trouble with her mother and there would be no way she could possibly wiggle her way out of that right? The pup thought about it for a few brief moments before that pretty little smile lit up her face devilishly. Who cared what Sin did to her. She could take it, she was in charge. Pulling herself onto her dainty paws without any thought she brought her paw down onto the little bug. The hard shell cracked and that putrid green liquid poured out onto her paws. Shaking her paw she brushed it on the yellow grass wiping it off.
Her two-toned tail held high the Princess pranced off away from the little meeting area. She didn't care who she was suppose to meet. Levana slipped through the tall grass, towering over her tiny body. Her mauve curls bouncing on her head as she walked. She wasn't going in any real direction and the girl had yet to explore the entire island. Sin had made sure she hadn't gotten too far out since her first venture. She grinned at the thought of it all. It made her heart race with excitement. Why her mother got so worked up she'll never know. As long as Praesidium was with her there would be no danger. No harm would come of her, no one would dare hurt her. If they did she knew Daddy and Mommy would hurt them. Hurt them bad. Levana let those butterscotch eyes move around spying nothing of real interest to her. She was getting bored with every step. Where was the excitement? Where was the danger? Without Danger there was no fun, no fun at all.
Sighing the multi-colored girl pranced towards the borders. Maybe she could swim? Well she certainly didn't know how to yet, but she definately was going to do it. The mud squished between her toes as she darted west to the swampier parts of the island. The peat. Mother was not going to find her and neither would the boy she was suppose to meet. Diana would not allow it. A grin grew on her muzzle, she reached the murky waters. Her eyes wide at the sight before her. The huge land rising out over the dark waters. It was awe inspiring and she wanted to go there. She needed to get there. Only problem. She didn't know how to swim.

He saw her intentions.
He saw them, picked them apart and examined them, wondering why she wanted to do such a thing and, better yet, why she didn't. Did the little girl not know how to friggin' swim, or was she just scared of the water? Lance huffed in amusement at the thought, his little tail wagging back and forth wildly with growing anticipation for his grand scheme. He didn't like to let others act better than he was - Sin had told him that he was to meet with some girl today, but he hadn't paid much attention to the name or the reason for such a gathering. It was unimportant, if he wasn't going to command it. So the tricolor strode out from the thick marshland ferns, watching with growing interest as the female seemed to long but dare not try for that little piece of land out in the water. He was curious as to the girls reasoning, but the boys arrogance shone through, not letting him ask another person for a reason. He had his own; she was scared of the water.
"Hah, look at the little baby!" He'd trot over to her, snorting in her face and holding his head and tail higher than hers in a show of disrespect and arrogance. "Is the little baby ascared of the watterr?" Lance laughed evilly, a wicked grin platered on his face as he teased the young girl. Then he motioned with his paw to the water, and further, the island surrounded by the murky liquid .
"Go for it. Go. Swim. Paddle. Whatever. Or can you just not do it?" With that, the liberi jumped into the water, sending the moss and little bits of leaves and other debris in the water flowing away from him on the ripples and waves. He swam over to the island, paddling out into the cool water with a grin plastered on his face. He swam around for a moment before paddling back to shore, laughing in the girls face. "Haha! Let's see you do that!" Such a tease he was.

"Hah, look at the little baby!"
Levana whirled around her maube curls flying madly as she did. Her small body looking up at the one who was speaking to her. His words caused her to let out a small puppish growl of anger towards him. How dare he call her a little baby! She was the Princess and could have him squashed like a bug. He was taller than her and the fact she was raising himself higher only added salt to the wound he was opening. Oh he would so pay for that! Wait till she got her mother and father. They would crush him... wait what was she saying. She didn't need them to crush him... Who was this bully anyways? She had never met him before or heard of him. She only knew of that deformed girl and her mother had talked about another boy named Lance. She was suppose to meet a Lance. Maybe that boy she was suppose to meet would come and beat this kid up for her.
"Is the little baby ascared of the watterr?"
She pressed her red tipped ears to her skull raising her tail up in the air. Oh that was the last straw. She was going to bite his face off right here and now. Yet Levana didn't have the chance too. After his next words the stupid kid jumped right into the water and began swimming away making her more angry by the second. How dare he run away from her. She was breathing heavily in rage a tantrum ready to explode inside of her. Her lips twitching those white developing fangs showing just a tiny bit.
"Ego mos morsus vestri visio vos brat! Quam praesumo vos insult regius!" ((I bite your face you brat! How dar you insult royalie!))
She nearly screamed at him. The first one other than family she had talked too. Who would have thought it would be in such anger. Levana jumped forward without thinking about the water. She just wanted to make him hurt like he had done to her. As her small body hit the water the liquid splashed up into her butterscotch eyes. She closed them as the stinging sensation made her yelp and cry out. Water entering her gray nose and mouth. She flailed madly in the water trying to keep her head above only to have the water feel like it was pulling her downward. Between the coughs and gasps for air she managed to cry out.
"Salus! Mater!" ((Help! Mommy!))

The arrogant little boy was having so much fun messing with the girl. She couldn't swim, lacked the muscle and whatnot to complete such an easy task - he, however, was quite the aquatic little canine, apparently. Waves splashed around him, and he paddled about, eyes glaring teasingly at the little girl. Baha! Then the words finally hit his ears.. royalty? What? Immediately the boy stopped paddling, his ears flying back against his head. What, royalty?! The only royal children were Sin and Grady's puppies, so this fragile little scaredy-cat had to be.. oh crap. The boys eyes went wide with realization, but he kept his manner cool and collected. Suave, and unreadable - at least, as much as he could anyway. She'd not get the best of him, royalty or not!
Then she did something surprising.
She leaped into the water, seeming to awkwardly try and paddle about. She looks like a flailing duck with a broken wing. For a moment the boy only watched, raising one eyebrow in curiosity. What was she doing? He waited for a moment, seeing her scramble about helplessly in the water. "Hey, come on, that's not funny." For a slight moment, he hoped she was just playing around, but when she screamed out for her mother, Lance's heart jumped up into his throat.
The boy paddled over to the girl as fast as his little legs could go, blinking water from his eyes rapidly. The murky water stung them, made them hurt and eventually he was squinting. Quickly though, like a viper snatching its prey, he'd attempt to strike out and grab the girls scruff, paddling backwards toward the shore, toward safety. Once they were there he'd drag her up onto dry land, before hunching over and spitting out small bits of debris and coughing up a little of the murky water. Rubbing his eyes with a paw, he'd turn back to the girl, looking her over, making sure she was okay before his chest puffed out and his eyes narrowed. "What were you thinking?! You could have died!" He wasn't too sure that she would understand his english, her being born and raised in a latin-speaking land. He sighed then, shaking himself violently and sending water droplets all around him. "EGO sum Lance." I am Lance.
