The grass blew peacefully in the wind as she stepped forward again, the land now familiar to her. Suteki held her head high, scanning the horizon for signs of her opponent, Hysteria. She knew nothing of this wolf, and only just realized the Lord of Darkness, as he may be called, was not in the running. Suteki stood alone, having decided that it wouldn't be right to put the lives of those she loved on the hook when this task was hers. So while Barrikade, Akibisu and Purple Moon were sleeping, she walked out, coming back to this place that soon would be called Silverlake. She didn't have any doubt that that had been the right thing to do, but it was lonely now, standing waiting for her opponent on her own. But she was never truly alone, anyhow. She tossed her hair out of her eyes. Since the leather band had fallen out, her long wavy hair had been quite the nusiance, almost always trying to be in her eyes. But she could fight with it, it didn't handicap her ability to win this. It was just something new to get used to. Suteki switched her weight to her other side. Where was this opponent of hers? He sure was taking his sweet time coming. She rolled her eyes before calling out. "Hysteria! The time has come for you to fight for this land! Are you truly letting it pass you by?" She laughed to herself. If the fool wasn't here soon, she would simply have to claim the land as her own. She sat now, and staring into the deep blue of the early morning sky, she waited.

[[Haha, Hysteria's a girl. XD]] [[Ewww. . . . my post is sucha crappost]]
She was now accustomed to the heat and humidity of these lands. It wasn't unusual to her, the heat. But the humidity did take a bit of strain on her. Her golden eyes focused on the territory, watching her every step as if she might sink into the ground each time. Her claws scratched up the ground beneath her dark toes, ready to claim it as her own. Her own clan. Her own territory. Hers. Her maw crinkled at the thought, excited and thrilled. And, to make it even more exciting, there was a challenge. A threat. Something in her way. A mere obsticle. All she had to do was tear it down, step over it, and then she'd succeed. And she would. Her spine was tingling. It was time. Time for success.
Growling lowly to herself, the timber mixbreed marched towards the waters. Her tail thrashed arrogantly from side to side, prepared for the fight. Eager for the fight. Another figure soon appeared. Waiting. Stupid fool. Bright colors shone towards Hysteria, making her scowl. A snarl erupted from her throat, echoing viciously. Disgusting! Was it too hard to take on a natural appearance? Natural colors? What the hell was with this moron? She looked like she was thrown out of the Blackblood Camp for playing in the tattoo paints. The thought of the Blackblood Camp sent her blood pumping like a fire through her veins. Anger boiled in her body, her eyes glaring at her threat straight in the eye. Her pace was quickened, her steps brisk and deliberately sharp. Her tail threw itself upwards, marking her dominence. This female was to be buried into the ground if Hyss had any say in it.
"Shut yer damn trap, mutt! This land is already mine, and you are a mere flea on my back! I'll squish you into the ground where you belong!" Her head lowered itself into an aggressive stance, her legs tightening. She was ready to fight, now. Ready to claim this for Corrazine. Whoever the hell this brute of a bitch was, she would be dead by sunhigh. The morning temperatures were cooler than what it would soon be, so the timber female wanted to get this over and done with quickly. Now. "I dare you to strike first!"

Suteki turned facing her opponent. Taking in the younger, obviously less experienced wolf, she let out a chuckle. "And this is the wolf I'm to face, this small, arrogant youth? Really." She laughed again then snarled, baring her teeth in a malicious grin. This pup's markings were odd, and looked like scars, though the only real ones seemed to be under her pineapple gold eyes. Suteki could have been a relative of her, as the browns of Hysteria's hair matched her hair and fur perfectly. How strange that was. "I dare you to strike first!" Suteki laughed. "I will, I will, in time, kid. But first, I extend to you the invitation to give up your silly plight, and come stand by me in a position of high honor before you throw your life away. If you choose to fight, you shall be banished and Silverlake will not accept you or your family." Suteki scarcely gave such an offer as this when it came to fighting. In fact, she had only once before done so, earning her a lifetime friend in Irvine Kinneas. Suteki stood, eyes blazing like a fire, crouching down preparing to fight. She knew this kid wasn't going to take her offer. She laughed again, howling up into the air, bringing her head down and glaring into her opponent's eyes. "Let's tango." She leaped forward in a sudden flash, aiming straight for Hysteria's left front leg, aiming to bite down hard enough to temporarily stun her.

Was she trying to bargain? With her? Damn arrogance! The snarling that trickled down Hysteria's throat bolted up in volume, her fangs clenching tightly together. Her fierce orbs glared at the brown and blue she-wolf, disgusted and insulted. Who was she to think that the timber would just give up? Lie down? Roll over in submission like a good little pup? Who the hell did she think she was? Blood pulsing like rapids through her body, her muscles were tingling and anxious. Talk talk talk. Too much of this. Strike. Now. But it was the chuckle that set off Hyss. Her auds flattened themselves, her tail swishing briskly from left to right and again. Taking a few steps forwards, she leaned in closer towards her opponent. The heat from her body could have nearly been strong enough to burn the crisp grass she strode upon. But no flames arose, no smoke rose up from the blades of green vegetation. Her paw pads merely tingled as their heat was molded with the cool ground.
Letting a swift bark elude her blackened lips, the white timber and arctic mix bristled her fur. "Watch your tongue, as I'll bite it out once you're flattened across this very ground. . ." Her growling continued, even as the rival lowered herself down into a crouch. A beginning fighter's pose. A real fighter never gave hints. No clues. All surprise. She had learned this from her time as a double agent back when she was in the Outlands. The thought of that cursed desert made her spine shiver, allowing her body to arise in strength. In reason. Her purpose for doing this. Her snarls roared as there was a mutter of words and a sweep of a leap. Even though Hysteria didn't notice the initial attack, her eyes gazed in front of her. Everything seemed to slow down, which was both an advantage and a disadvantage on her behalf. She could see the movements of her attacker. But, she was not able to correctly adjust her timing to elude the jaws. Leaning to her right, Hysteria began to jump out of harms way, her head throwing itself back to the left. Her jaws were wide open, her tongue held firmly against the roof of her mouth. The sharp piercing of pain shot up her left wrist, a small cut sliding across the edge of her arm. Instincts pulled her arm away from the jaws of her opponent, cutting it open a little further. But it was only a small wound, about two inches long or so. She didn't dare bother to think how deep it was. Her eyes were ablaze as her body swung around towards her left, the rear of her body still moving to the right...
Her jaws began to shut, her fangs itching to feel the skin of this dire mutt within her clutch.

((How is this Shebashi?)) Suteki leaped forward after landing her attack. But she didn't quite make it. Hysteria caught her by the tail, and Suteki yelped as she tried to yank free of the grasp. She wheeled around and raised her right paw, aiming to drag it across Hysteria's face to get he rto open her mouth so Suteki could get free. She then would run a few feet forward, turn around, and jump up into the air, hopefully to land down on Hysteria, smashing her into the ground and would bite her skinny pup's neck. Suteki's mind whirred quickly, planning move after move to follow that one mentally. She had been for weeks. Studying the way of the Ancients, she had picked up multiple new skills and ways of fighting. But first, she needed to have this pup let her tail go... Time seemed to go in slow motion to Suteki. There wasn't much she could do until this opponent had been clawed, and she could get loose. Suteki knew she was being fairly Headstrong, assuming that she'd be automatically winning. But she had been working so hard for this. She wasn't going to give up until she was on her deathbed. After she made that move, Suteki would roll off her opponent, get back on her feet in a crouch and leap up, hopefully catching the front of Hysteria's neck as she stood back up and would push her opponent a ways away.

[[I'll try to make this post work, since there's not much for me to work off of. . .]]
The scent, and taste, of the bitch's blood excited the timber mutt. Her golden eyes flared, her lips spreading into a crude sneer. With her jaws clamped shut on the other's tail, her muscles tensed. She pressured her jaws, trying to close them down as tightly as they could go. The end of the limb, the end of the muscle and skin. The end of the tail. Hysteria knew that nerves were most sensitive when at the end of a limb. It's where they rounded about to head back to the bones and spine. Therefore, the nerves were twice as sensitive. A wicked chuckle escaped her throat, her blood pumping violently through her body. Exhileration. Tension. This fight. . . she was enjoying it. So much fun, it reminded her of that day in the Outlands. Where she was dragged to Rhinjin. Sentenced to exile, and beaten. She had fought back, leaving her attackers some scars to think about before she left. Hyss would sure as hell give this brat some scars to think about after the timber and dire cross won. She'd be true to that.
As the white and black wolf began to yank the tail of the rival, she noticed that Suteki was no longer trying to pull her tail away. There was a sense of silence, suspense, as Hyss turned her attention back to the main body. Not just the tail. Bright, wild eyes caught site of a set of claws. Large, black claws. A split second of hesitation, pondering what to do. Let go? The female knew very well that she might not be able to get her jaws back on this female. But was she willing to take one? A growl emerged from her throat, her gums curling upwards in her desicion. She ripped her maw away from the tail, not even bother to open her teeth to let go. Simply rip away, hoping for as much damage as possible. Her fangs had already penetrated the skin, the blood vessels. Suteki was already bleeding. But not enough, though. Hopefully her irrational move would fix that. Hopefully it would cause some real problems. Some real damage.
The inertia threw Hysteria to her left, and her forepaws threw themselves out, reaching for the ground. The second they did, her body whirled around, facing her opponent, whether she had reacted or not. The adrenaline that was searing through her body was too strong. She couldn't stay still for too long. Her lungs were heaving, her maw open as she panted. Excited. Thrilled. Eager for more. It wasn't until the blood had slipped down to her maw that Hysteria knew she had been struck. The excitement didn't let her noticed. She could feel the warmth of the thick red liquid under her left eye. Another cut? She prayed that it had gotten rid of the rest of her tattoo. She didn't want that disgrace of a painting there. Shaking her head to rid her pelt of the blood, she growled. Her gold eyes focused on Suteki, refusing to stop herself from blurting, "Face me, you coward!" It was then that she launched herself, maw wide and forelegs outstretched. Ready to grab the fool. The pest. This. . . Suteki. She aimed for the back hips, somewhere painful, yet far from the jaws of danger. She knew better.
