The Corrazine Clan
I'll get the post quoted, but here's the link to my proposition.
forum.theblackbloodalliance.hrwr.org/index.php?topic=100955.0
If not enough people want it to happen, then I will use my ideas from here to help with Sunny's feral pack idea.
'Kay? 'Kay. . .
HUGE EDIT: I don't know why I didn't put this here. Just something that everyone needs to know, especially anyone who's planning on actually MAKING a character for this pack. NO WOLVES WITH BBO TATTOOS!!!! Why just no tats? Only wolves who went to the MV get tats. And, most occasionally, those wolves are sent over by BBO. Hysteria HATES the Blackblood Pack. HATES. Just read her friggin' history. And same with anyone who was once in the BBO. Anyone within the pack who is later discovered to have been in the BBO shall die a traitor's death.
'Nother Edit: I was thinking of having some form for a ranking subcategory. One of Corrazine's trademarks will be it's . . . . persuasion. Equipped with highly intelligent wolves, as well as wolves who know how to screw with the mind, the Clan can offer Interrogaters to their allies when they are needed. Also, they can offer them in exchange for certain goods. Your Opinion?
It will probably be run by my character Hysteria.
Anyways. Some of the aspects of Lucern will stay, as well as my proposition for the Corrazine Clan. And I will add a few tidbits as well.
Staying From Lucern: The Ceremony for Casseopia, The Elites/Trustee Ranks, Multiple other ranks, Some spiffed-up Harem ideas.
Staying from Corrazine Proposition: The Halamine/Halkin ranks & ideas surrounding them, The female superiority when it comes to royalty, The "Chaust"
Name ideas?
PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!
Or, if it ends up coming to it. . . I may just call it the Corrazine Clan.
Anyways. This pack is mainly run by a female. The Halamine. But this does not mean that females are preferred over males. Not at all. It's just that the leader is always female, and there's no question to it. Each gender is treated equally, until it comes to the point of deciding a Ciplan, or the heir to the Halamine. Only a female can become the heir, yet even the sons of the Halamine are held in high regards. The Halamine needs to have strong and sturdy males, ones that know that they're needed and respected.
Every year, around breeding season, there is a fight for the Halkin rank, or the mate of the Halamine. The Halkin is also the equivilant of an alpha male, except he can only have as much power as the Halamine grants him on his victory. This fight is called the "Chaust", and is conducted in a series of rounds. Depending on how many males show interest in the fight, it is usually a few rounds of one on one fighting between the males. During the fight, the males are not to kill or fatally harm another male. For their own protection, once a male participating in the Chaust feels like they cannot go any further, they should back out themselves. Although it can sometimes be considered honorable to keep fighting even under a weakened state, fighting and fighting when you know you won't make it is idiotic. When all of the rounds are completed, and it has come down to the final two wolves that are fighting for the Halkin rank, it is now up to the Halamine on who she may chose. The two are to fight until the Halamine tells them to stop. Then she is to make a desicion on who will become her Halkin. Even if the strongest wolf wins, she may chose the other male because of some qualities that he presented during the duration of the fight. This is uncommon, but still possible. Usually the Halamine will only choose the strongest, but sometimes the strongest doesn't always win.
Surprisingly, one of the most respected ranks within the pack is the Amah, or nanny. This is because the Amahs raise not only the whole of pups from the pack, but also the Halamine's litter. One or two of the most trusted Amahs are entrusted with the Halamine's pups once they are done through the weening process. It is then up to the selected Amahs to train the pups to live up to their full potential. They are to be taught that the outside is dangerous and unpredictable, and that the safest and best place to be is home. In the pack. Those lessons are also taught to the other pups of the pack, and this is essential to keep the loyalty ties strong.
Now, instead of having the mothers give their pups a name that they will continue to live by for the rest of their lives, this pack has another strategy. Sure, the mother can name her pups as she pleases, but once the pups reach 9 months old, they are considered mature enough to make their own desicions. There is then a ceremony to move the mature pups from their Inferiority, or pup rank, up the to Majority, or common rank. It is not uncommon for a pup to be bumped from the Inferiority to one of the working ranks should the Halamine or someone from the Council see them fit. It is at that ceremony where the pup can take a name of their own. They can choose to stay with their own name, or move on with another one. The name that they choose can only consist of one word, for after they announce their new name, the Council appoints them a surname. So, in the end, they will end up technically having two names. One of their choice, and one that the Council appoints them. The Council usually gives them a name that describes their personality or appearance. . . or perhaps a big accomplishment they've achieved.

RANKINGS:
Halamine: She has the absolute power over the pack. No questions asked; her word is law.
Halkin: This is the mate to the Halamine. He has only as much power as the Halkin appoints him on the night of his "Chausery" (victory)
Ciplan: This is the Halamine-In-Training that is most likely the favorited offspring of the Halamine. She will be guided and taught by the Halamine and her court. She must be shown the utmost respect, and should the Halamine die, the Ciplan will take her place.
Naits: The Naits are all of the offspring of the Halamine. They are to be shown respect, whether they are male or female. They will also be given another rank to meet their specific qualities.
Elites: The Elites are the majority of the Council. These wolves are trusted members of the Royal family who are utterly loyal and seek the best for the pack. They are wise and upto-date on the facts. They use their knowledge to aid the Great Council in their desicion-making, and sometimes even the Halamine herself. The Elites in the pack are the elders. They are the ones who have seen the tales of legends, and bear the knowledge of many wars and encounters. They are the ones who give advice to the Council and Halamine should they need help. They are called upon to be honest, humble, and extremely loyal. They are very valuable to the pack, and are well-respected. An Elder is always with the Halamine or Maske when either another pack has proposed an alliance, or when they are going to propose one to another pack, to determine whether or not their leader has made a correct decision or not. It is believed that the Elders have the ability to communicate with the ancestors and gods, and can sometimes bear visions from them. If they do have a vision, they are to discuss it among themselves, and decifer what its meaning could mean for the Pack. This is an honorable rank to have.
Maske: The Maske is the head advisor and the over-seer of any desicions in the Court. He/She is personally picked by the Halamine and is usually a personal friend of hers. The Maske is the personal advisor to the Halamine. Also, he/she must be present at all rankings, and they will carry out the rank promotions should the Halamine be busy. This rank is of high importance and should be severely respected.
Cansitan: The Cansitan is a member of the Court who provides the details when situations rise up. He/she is expected to know about every member of the pack, and should be unbiased, unless Potency feels like being biased. When the Halamine has to review a trial or accusation, the Cansitan should inform her about all of the facts that can be relevant. Also, the Cansitan should be able to offer advice or information (that isn't secret) to any member of the pack. This is probably the most social ranks in the Court.
Patri: The Patri are probably the friendliest members of the Council. Unlike the others who are expected to be stern and emotionless, the Patri takes in any complaints that any of the lower classes has and presents it to the Court. They are to somewhat understanding, but also able to back up the Court and the Royal rankings when any kind of rebellion or complaining goes on. They should be very intelligent, able to see situations from all angles, and clever in their words because they are expected to speak for the Court to the lower class. They should be able to persuade the lower classes to what the Court and Royalty wants them to think and/or feel. There are usually 2 Patri, maybe one if he/she can handle the job well enough.
Torin: The lowest rank in the Court is the Torin. He/she is expected know everything about anything outside of the pack. When a new pack pops up in the Marshlands, the Torin is expected to know about the leader, his mate, whether they is bisexual, anything! Although this is the lowest ranking in the Court, it is an important rank none-the-less. The Halamine will often consult with the Torin about deciding which packs to make allies with, and which to condemn to be enemies.
Grand Knights: The Grand Knights are the bodyguards to the Royal family. They must be quick and stealthy and strong. Whenever one of the Royal Family steps foot outside of the borders, or to go see a prisoner, there is always a Grand Knight either beside them, or standing close by. It is their responsibility to keep the Royalty safe. if they fail to do so, they will either be demoted to the Peasantry, exiled, or killed if it truly hurt the pack.
Magnate: The Magnate is in charge of keeping the Patrols. They are to keep the laws and punishments of the pack in complete order. They have the right to punish a member of the pack on any level except demoting. Only the Halamine has the power to demote a member of the pack. However, if the Magnate thinks someone is in need of losing their rank, they can bring the situation up to the Halamine, and her only.
Surike: The Surike is the captain of the Triggers. He/she is required to be stealthy and quick, and to kill easily. This is one of the most favored ranks of the Halamine, and so the Surike is usually a trusted friend of hers. The Surike is in charge of keeping the Triggers in shape, assigning their missions, and holding training sessions or recruitments for them. He/she must be organized and on their toes, because anything could happen at any time.
Infiltra: The Infiltra is the captain of the Sleuths. He/she is expected to be very wary, intelligent, quick, to the point, and reliable. They should be able to act on an instant's notice, and should be highly orginized in setting up missions and trainings. It is up to the Infiltra to keep the Sleuths in shape; so if a Sleuth is slacking or fails a mission, it is blamed on the Infiltra. Therefore, the Infiltra must be wise in their judgements as to how to train certain Sleuths, who to assign to specific missions, and who should be booted off the rank.
Hiltran: The Hiltran is the captain of the Arms. He/she is required to be blunt, loyal, quick, strong, and have a knack for kicking others into shape. He/she must plan out the formations and strategies for when the pack goes to fight, and is responsible for any mishaps that happen with the Arms. The Hiltran is responsible to hosting the Arms training and recruitment, and should know when to boot a member off the rank before the Halamine has to.
Kiare: The Kiare is the captain of the Herbalists in the pack. They should have an extensive knowledge of all the plants, toxins, and secretions available in the Marshlands. He/she should be compassionate, patient, orginized, quick, and effective. There is rarely training for the Herbalists, but the Kiare should make sure that his/her pupils know how to react in certain situations. Recruitment is a requirement for the Herbalists, so the Kiare is in charge of setting up recruitment and following through with it.
Amah: The Amahs are required to care for any pups that are born, since the Halamine wants the mothers to continue with their jobs. Only females can be Amahs, obviously, and they should have a great deal of patience. They are to watch the pups through the day, feed them, and teach them the ways of the pack while everything else is going on. If the pack is under threat, the Amahs are required to take the pups to a secure place until notified otherwise.
Trustees: There are very few Trustees within the pack. This is a rank that the Halamine has given out to very special wolves. This rank is only given to those who have proven themselves to be of the utmost trust towards the Royal Family, and the entire pack. A Trustee is usually someone who will go on missions outside of pack borders, sometimes with important information. Often or not, it is to transfer a quick message to any Allies or Comrades. But occasionally, if the Halamine is desperate, a Trustee may be sent out to track someone down, or spy on a specific person/pack. however, it is rare that their lives would be endagered like that. The Trustees can usually just lay back and relax the feeling of being trusted. They are given authority over anyone who is literally lower on the rankings list (Amah and up does not count). They can feel free to come to the Royal Family at any time, and can be given permission to request a private speaking with the Halamine if they need to.
Patrols: These are the scouts of the pack. They are to patrol, heh, the borders daily. It is also their responsibility to hunt and bring back food for the pack when neeeded. They should be vigilient and alert, and should be quick with their movements. Should they spot an intruder, they should call upon the Hor Arms immediately, approach the intruder, and handle the situation until a Hor Arm comes.
Triggers: The Triggers are the assassains of the pack. They should be quick and deadly, and have high accuracy. This is a favored rank of the Halamine, and so the Triggers are shown much respect.
Sleuths: The Sleuths are the spies of the pack, and their rank is kept secret for obvious reasons. Whoever is appointed the rank of Sleuth will also be given a cover rnak by the Halamine herself. Sleuths should be highly intelligant, clever, witty, swift, and blunt. They should know what to do and when to do it. Also, they are expected to be ready for a mission on a moment's notice, and they should be able to work together.
Arms: The Arms are the soldiers of the pack. They are brutish and aggressive, loyal to their pack with their lives. They should be willing to die for their pack, and die they must if the situations comes down to it. They will undergo constant training to ensure that they are in the best of shape.
Herbalists: The Herbalists are the healers, and there are usually only about two, maybe three, Herbalists in the pack. This way, since there really isn't a need for a lot of healers, the wolves with more potential can earn another rank instead. Herbalists are required to be patient and calm and reassuring. They should be very intelligent and great at solving problems.
Majority: This is the standard rank. Not much is expected, but the Halamine will require any peasant to at least try to gain a higher rank. If you stay a peasant too long, she will get mad at you because you're just being lazy. Get into gear.
Inferiority: This is the ranks that all pups have until they are nine months old. Once they reach that age, they will become a part of the Majority rank unless they have a rank already cut out for them.
Peasantry: The Peasantry is the absolute lowest rank possible. This is usually where demoted wolves are sent, or members who are under trial or suspicion of needing a trial. It is extremely hard to move up from this rank, and to do so will require some serious sucking up. If you do anything to upset or anger any member from the Respected rankees on up, then you will be exiled on the spot. This is a very dangerous rank.
Comrade: This is a single being who is at peace with the pack. This can be because they have pledged their loyalty, but reside elsewhere; are good friends with the Halamine, or have proved themselves worthy of such a rank. They are granted passage onto the pack's territory without harassment, but of course they must state their reasons for being there if asked.
Allies: Another pack who is at peace with the pack, almost always under agreed terms. Each Ally is granted specific different offerings depending on how the alliance was set up.
Traitor: A traitor who has proved themselves a disgrace to the pack. This does not mean that they were once a part of the pack. A traitor could be someone from a highly-ranked member's past who is considered anything but welcome on pack lands. If they are spotted on the territory, a member has the right to kill them on sight..
Hostilities: Another pack who has proved themselves to be enemies of the pack. This can be solved byt them challenging the pack and losing, their virtues disagreeing with the Halamine, or even if the pack doesn't like the other pack anyways.
Ceremony of Cassopeia
The Ceremony of Cassopeia is a ceremony to celebrate the Sun Rulers of the stars. According to Cor ways, there is one constellation that towers above all others when it comes to beauty and accuracy. Since the constellation Cassopeia is always in the center of the sky from the view of the territory, the pack has crowned the stars of this constellation the rulers. Its King Star is named Cih, with Rucha and Schedir on either side, and Caph and Segin on the ends.
The Ceremony of Cassopeia takes place on the Winter Solstice, the day that bears the most nighttime hours. It is then because that way the Cassopeia has a chance to shine in its glory for the longest amount of time possible.
The Halamine will call the pack together for the ceremony, and head over to the Ceremony Stone. They will hoist themselves on the Granite, and await the arrival of all the pack members. Once everyone is in the presence of each other, everyone lays down, and the Halamine or Maske will start the ceremony. They will stand up, tall and proud, raising their maw to the skies. With the darkness of the night surrounding the lands, the brightness of the stars will be brighter than ever. Whoever is presiding the ceremony will let out a long howl to begin with, and will follow it with a speech from the Halamine, or anyone that the Halamine appoints to carry out the ceremony.
It is at this ceremony where the Halamine expects everyone to renew their vows of loyalty. This can be by collecting prey for the Clan before the ceremony, passing out the prey, or spending the night at the Ceremony Stone. Anyone who does not show up for the Ceremony of Cassopeia will be swiftly demoted the following morning.
Anyone who has not participated in a Ceremony of Cassopeia, and it is their first time, will be granted the permission to be the first to eat at the ceremony. Whether they be pups, new acceptees, or under any other circumstances, this is how it goes. Not too long after the speech is held out, and the feast has started, the Halamine will set off with a thundering howl. From that point until the following Sunpeak, there are to be no discussions. Any word peeped from anyone's mouth will be punished. The Brisk Silence is to be kept silent, as it is the time for the Sun Rulers of the stars to make themselves at home amongst the Clan. It is believed that they come down as spirits and lay down to associate with their favorite of the Clan.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ceremony of the Passing
The Ceremony of the Passing is another way of saying a funeral. When a member of the pack passes, even if it wasn't the most honorable member, a ceremony is held at the Ceremony Stone. After a battle, or in another circumstance in which there may be more than one life lost, there is still only one ceremony held.
In the event of a pack member's death, or multiple deaths, the Halamine or Maske is to call the whole pack together for a Ceremony. They lead those who are already with them to the Ceremony Stone, and rest themselves upon the Granite. The corpse of the one, or ones, who have passed is set before the stone, and everyone must be respectful to the body. There they wait until the whole of the pack has arrived. Then they call out to the stars a prayer for the souls that have moved on. Others are welcomed and encouraged to howl along, in hopes that the spirits of the departed will hear and acknowledge them.
It is now that the Halamine is to say anything that they have to say about the one who died. Once she finishes, the night is to remain in silence, and those who wish to spend their last time with the deceased it welcome to. At moonhigh, the Patrols are to take the corpse to the burial ground behind the Granite. Everyone then goes back to their dens or duties for the night, still in silence.
It is believed that the spirits of the stars come down to the spirit of the one who has died and they are sitting together at the base of the Granite. They watch the ceremony, and once the pack howls and prays, the spirits leave back to the stars and leave the deceased to stay with their packmates until moonhigh. Once the moon is in the center of the sky, the spirit of the deceased is to rise up to join the spirits of the stars up in the skies, for eternity.

TIDBIT #1
Since this revolves around celestial beliefs, no wolf that has any kind of starry or celestial design is permitted inside the borders. They are believed to be heretics; mocking the gods and spirits with their mortal body. If one is found within the borders of the territory, they are brutally pinned down and taken before the Grand Conseil. Depending on the condition and manner that they intruded on the territory, it is up to the Grand Conseil to decide upon the punishment. However, if the Halamine is intrigued by this trespassing heretic, and she decides to partake in the judgement, then it is officially up to her to decide the punishment. When she is present, her desicion overrules the desicion of the Grand Conseil.
However, if a pup is born into the pack with some sort of celestial design, they are believed to be a messenger from the gods and spirits. They are to be shown respect and honor, and they usually occupy the rank of Trustee by the time they mature. But if they seem to have a better rank cut out for them, it is their desicion on whether they want that rank over the rank of Trustee. The only one who has the power to deny such a wolf their rights as a Messenger is the Halamine.

Ouvriers:
(Laborers)
(Laborers)
- Hor Arms: These are the master soldiers of the pack. This rank is only held by biggest and strongest of members, for the security of the pack. These soldiers will deal with intruders, preform executions, and will assist the Arms in major battles.
- En Masse: These are the majority of the fighters. These are the first to go out and fight for their pack, and the last to return. These Arms are often sent out on an ambush because of their sheer amount.
Paysannerie:
(Peasantry)
(Peasantry)
Bons Termes:
(On Good Terms)
(On Good Terms)
Comrade: This is a single being who is at peace with the pack. This can be because they have pledged their loyalty, but reside elsewhere; are good friends with the Halamine, or have proved themselves worthy of such a rank. They are granted passage onto the pack's territory without harassment, but of course they must state their reasons for being there if asked.
Allies: Another pack who is at peace with the pack, almost always under agreed terms. Each Ally is granted specific different offerings depending on how the alliance was set up.
Mauvais Termes:
(On Bad Terms)
(On Bad Terms)

Okay. . . you can comment while I post all the little tidbits and stuff
