Gawd, Lucern needs to get their asses into gear. Plus, our alliance offer with MK is going slower than I'd hoped. And once CoM is up and running, as promised with them, we will form an alliance with them. But until then Bramble has cometh up with an idea!
It would sorta be like the Olympics, except it's not. . . . and it's only for the Marshland Packs. =3 Just a type of thing so that the newer packs can get associated and whatnot. Lucern will host it, on the far western half of their territory, past the leaders' den. There will be fights and contests, and just plain old relaxation inbetween for anyone who wishes to join in. There will be three days of events, one day in the beginning to get comfortable, and one day at the end for calming down and situation everyone to head back to their own territory. All of this will happen under a treaty, so that the Lucern Pack doesn't have to worry about being attacked. . . >_>
Anyways, here is what will happen:
[/center]
DAY 1: Everyone meets up with each other on the western borders of Lucern territory in late afternoon. Once situated, the Mistress and Master of Lucern will announce the daily schedule to the participants. Everyone gets familiar with the dormitories that they are staying in during the night{Seperate den-like holes in the Grand Cave}. Each wolf will be supplied with one rabbit each so that they can save their strength for the upcoming events. They will be left to sleep.
DAY 2: This day is the Lethal Hunt. Two members from each pack, or one of that pack desires, will be selected to do this. They will meet before the sun rises, and the Mistress will sweep through the wolves, amking sure everyone is ready. Once the sun rises, the contestants are to set off, hunting as much as they can before the sun reaches highpoint{noon}. At highpoint, the participants bring back their catch, and the Mistress analyzes what everyone caught. whoever wins will get first pick of the prey, and then everyone (even those who didn't participate) can eat in peace for the rest of the day. They can socialize, rest, swim. . . whatever.
DAY 3: This day is the Final Frontier. One wolf from each pack only, and there will be a fight. Each wolf will be matched with an opponent, and when the Master gives the signal, the fight shall begin. The pair will battle, without killing or seriously injuring. The point is only to determine who is the most skilled. Of the finalists from each pair, they will be paired again, and the same thing will happen until there is only one pair left. Once those two fight, and one wins, they shall be crowned as the champion. They will be given a home-made prize from the Lucernites, whether it be a crown or a necklace. Then everyone is supplied with a small meal, and the rest of the day is socialization.
DAY 4: The Marathon. This is the race of all races. Special bones are placed around the edges of Lucern territory. Only one wolf from each pack may participate in this race. At highpoint, the Master or Mistress will begin the race, and the wolves will set off. To prove that they have met the checkpoints around the borders of the territory, they will collect a bone from each of the checkpoints. each checkpoint has a different bone, so no one can cheat. The first to arrive back at the starting point, with all of the bones in their mouth, is deemed champion. As the reward for this particular event, the winner will be able to rest in the side chamber of the leaders' den. The rest of the day is socializing and resting, although it might already be late.
DAY 5: This is the last day of the Marshlandic Rally. Here the Mistress and Master of the Lucern congratulate everyone who participated, and points out the winners. After that short ceremony, the wolves of the packs may leave. However, to ensure the safety of Lucern, all packs must be evacuated from the Lucern territory by highpoint.
So. . . . anyone?
