. . . some helpful hints, tips, and information just for you. These are some helpful tips for everyone that are either random or don't exactly fall under any of the other categories. Mind you, they are still important and must be read. It is for your benefit. . . . . . now, to move on.- Who is Allowed - [/li][li] [/li][li]Wolves [/li][li] Large Felines[/li][li] Any creature that could be of worth or use[/li][li] Any creature from her past that has dishonored her or her uncle. Why? The Halamine is most welcoming towards wolves, espcially Elusives, as their special capabilities are nothing more than beneficial. Large Felines are also a big plus in her mind, but she is also accepting any other creature that could be of some use to her pack. She does not allow previous members of her Uncle's Pack that betrayed him. Her history has led her to loathe them with a raging passion that cannot be extinguished. Any sighting of said forbidden creatures will result in automatic death. Not enslavement or maiming, but death. - Consent? - The Corrazine Clan is a No-Consent territory, meaning if any member spots your character breaking the rules in any way, shape, or form, they have the right to attack and possibly kill your character. No permission from you is needed. - Halamine Hints -
[/li][li] Always refer to the Halamine by her rank. Only casual friends can refer to her by her name. [/li][li] The Halamine has the right over your rank. It is best not to upset her. [/li][li] Sucking up to the Halamine does not get you brownie points. Simply do your job and don't do anything costly. [/li][li] Challenges towards the Halamine rank are not open. Only through approved plots can the Halamine be overthrown. [/li][li] When it comes to feeding and nurturing, the Halamine's litters take priority over any other current litter, while still under 9 months of age.

. . . the Clan Laws must be read at all costs. Do not bother roleplaying here if you don't wish to read these. The Clan Laws are the boundries in which the Halamine expects everyone to live by. Any bending of the laws, or breaking them, will result in punishment. The Halamine is not one to let things slide by with a warning or anything along those lines. She is strict and sure to keep everyone in line. . . . . . now, to move on.-Respect the Halamine and her family. This law is pretty simple. The Halamine and her family, or her offspring, are the leader and potential leaders of the Clan. They must be respected and honored, for it is up to them whether or not you live and thrive within the Clan. -Acknowledge the Ranking System. Be sure to know where you are in the Ranking System. If you are a Majority, don't go sassing off to an Elite or the Hiltran. You will recieve punishments, depending on who you insult or disrespect. -No Trespassing. This law refers to anyone who is seeking acceptance, or anyone who just seems to be wandering by the borders and is not a member. Anyone caught trespassing on Cor territory will be treated as an intruder - pinned down and possibly attacked. If you are seeking acceptance, wait at the borders. Be patient. If you are intruding for the thrill of it, or because you lack the common sense stay out of territory that is not yours, hell be driven upon you. -No Leaving. The Halamine does not like the idea of her members leaving without notice or reasons. She feels as though they are seeking someone to reveal the Clan's codes and weaknesses to. If you do leave the pack territory without permission gained from the Halamine or Maske, you will be branded as a traitor and most likely killed on sight of your return. Be sure to talk to the Halamine before even thinking of leaving. If you are caught at the borders trying to leave, illegally, you may be attacked, maimed, killed, or even brought back in for torture. -Murder - Attack - Injuries. In Corrazine, it is an eye for an eye. If you have attacked another member of the Clan, without permission for a spar or permission period, you will recieve the same injuries that you gave. However, if it was one of the Respected Rankees scolding their own, that is acceptable. Or, in the case of maiming a trespassing or traitor or suspected traitor, this law is lifted. But, under the category of murdering without permission, you will be killed. You will be brought into the Blood Grounds and left for the Arms and Triggers to torture and kill. All spars must be approved before commencing. -Challenges. In the event that one of the Clan desires to challenge a higher-ranked member for their rank, there must be set rules. First, they must confront the Maske or Halamine concerning this topic. A rank challenge must be approved by the Halamine, or the challenger will recieve his due in injuries. In the event that the challenge is approved, the challenge fight must be monitored by at least one Elite and/or the Maske or Halamine. Should the challenger lose the fight, they are demoted down to the Peasant rank. Should the challenger win the fight, they are to switch ranks with the one they challenged. -Territory Challenges. When one of another pack or one seeking to create a pack comes onto Corrazine territory and challenges the Halamine for her land, everyone is expected to come. Not just to the challenge, but to any meeting concerning the challenge. Occasionally the Halamine may seek advice, or offer up the positions of fighting next to her in the challenge. Other times, she may choose who will fight with her. In that case, her choices cannot object unless they have a reason that could result in a negative outcome on Corrazine's behalf.

. . . the OOC Laws are just as important as the Clan Laws. Read! The OOC laws of any pack are just as important, if not, more important, as the IC laws. These laws set the regulations of how you, as a user, are to behave in the Clan's territory. Any OOC behavior should go in accordance with these laws. . . . . . now, to move on. -Be courteous. There are other members within the Clan. Be sure to respect them, their characters, and their opinions. Just as you have a right to say what you feel, so do they. Do not put yourself any higher than anyone else. -Do not Spam. Honestly. Spam is annoying, and that is what the Spam Bin is for. Corrazine will be set up with it's own, personal Spam Bin as soon as these laws are all completed. Feel free to spam your little heart out there. But do not do it elsewhere. The occasional fun is understandable, but if I find that one user in particular keeps posting random crap, I will delete it and warn that user. -Respect the Leaders. Running a pack is hard business, especially since the leaders are more than likely to have other characters to deal with. There is such a thing as real life, which takes place away from the computer screen. So, obviously, the leaders cannot be online every second of every day to help you. We will try to help you as best we can, and we promise you that. But do not harass us, spam us with questions, or completely disrespect us. It is extremely rude and will not be tolerated. -Literacy. Please, I do not believe I ask too much of you. But please keep to the standard literacy level. Here, in Corrazine, we have a 2-paragraph limit. No post should be under 2 paragraphs. Each paragraph should be at least seven sentences long. Any post that does not abide to this simple rule will get a notification, nothing drastic, that tells you that it is not long enough. If you ignore us and refuse to lengthen the post, it will be deleted. End of story. But seriously, keeping literate helps others be literate. It's a chain reaction. -IC-OOC Problems. If you find that you have a problem, issue, or a simple suggestion for the Clan, I would prefer that you PM it to one of the Clan leaders. Unless the situation is a type of poll or group discussion, there is no need for a whole topic to be posted - one that rants at the leader or the tactics that the Clan is operating under. I find it to be a bit rude and unorthodox.

. . . the Mating Terms in Corrazine are different than elsewhere. Keep in the know. The Mating Terms within the Cor Borders are different than that of any other pack in the known world. Be sure to read through this, perhaps more than once, to make sure that you've got it down and set in your head. . . . . . now, to move on.
[/li][li] Any member, of the Task Force or higher, has the right to mate. They do not need to verify it through the Halamine at all. [/li][li] However, once the litter is born, the mates must report it to the Maske and Halamine. If they do not, and the litter is found, the litter will be slain. [/li][li] If, for some reason, the litter is not reported nor found until the litter is more than three weeks old, they are not slain on the spot. They are dragged to the Blood Grounds, by the Patrols, for the Triggers and Arms to use as target practice. [/li][li] When the mates go to report their litter to the Maske and Halamine, they are to lead them into the den. The Maske and Halamine inspect the litter, and can make the desicion on who lives and who dies. [/li][li] Once the litter is reported in, the Maske and Halamine will frequent the den, watching the litter's progression, and can still decide who will live and who will die. [/li][li] Should there be too many litters at one time, the Halamine can put a ban on all Mating Rights [/li][li] Under a Mating Rights ban, any member of the Crown or Assembly has to right kill any litter found to be born. Any attempt to defend them from the mother or father will result in the "eye for an eye" injury law. - Still confused? PM me! -

. . . get a good grip on the lay of the land. It could do you some good. It can benefit you to just take even a simple glance at this. Get a good lay of the land, and where everything is located. It's not that hard. Just look at the pretty pictures and read the pretty words. That's all. . . . . . now, to move on.Geographical Map. -coming-

. . . now that one is mature, they are to take on a new responsibility. Their identity. The Corrazine Clan offers all young members, or newly-accepted members, to partake in a display of responsibility and change in status. One must not be bound by the same identity for the rest of their years, especially if it is one that they are ashamed of, or do not desire. This Ceremony offers the Clan's members a new chance, a fresh start, in their journey. . . . . . now, to move on. Now, instead of having the mothers give their pups a name that they will continue to live by for the rest of their lives, this Clan has another strategy. Sure, the mother can name her pups as she pleases, but once the pups reach 9 months old, they are considered mature enough to make their own desicions. There is then a Ceremony to move the mature pups from their Inferiority, or pup rank, up the to Majority, or common rank. It is not uncommon for a pup to be bumped from the Inferiority to one of the working ranks should the Halamine or someone from the Assembly see them fit. It is at this ceremony where the pup can take a name of their own. They can choose to stay with their own name, or move on with another one. The name that they choose can only consist of one word, for after they announce their new name, the Assembly appoints them a surname. So, in the end, they will end up technically having two parts to their new name. One of their choice, and one that the Assembly appoints them. Depending on the impression that the Assembly, or Halamine, has of the pup, the surname will be different. An example of a name change is changing from "Heather" to "Reiley Reaper". The only member of the Clan that is not required to have such a name is the Halamine, or the Ciplan if the right is granted to her by the Halamine.

. . . do you have what it takes? You dare battle for the Halkin Rank? The Halkin rank is cleared and filled at the turn of each Mating Season. This is to ensure that whoever is bearing pups with the Halamine is always strong. For, one may be strong one year, but the next, there may be one who is stronger. The rank of Halkin is always open to challenges, and can easily be changed in just one quick challenge for dominence. However, if the Chausery has passed, and later on, someone wishes to challenge the Halkin for his rank, the Halamine must approve. Otherwise, sorry out of luck. . . . . . now, to move on. Every year, around breeding season, there is a fight for the Halkin rank, or the mate of the Halamine. The Halkin is also the equivilant of an alpha male, except he can only have as much power as the Halamine grants him on his victory. This fight is called the Chaust, while the ending victory is called the Chausery. It is conducted in a series of rounds. Depending on how many males show interest in the fight, it is usually a few rounds of one on one fighting between the males. During the fight, the males are not to kill or fatally harm another male. For their own protection, once a male participating in the Chaust feels like they cannot go any further, they should back out themselves. Although it can sometimes be considered honorable to keep fighting even under a weakened state, fighting and fighting when you know you won't make it is idiotic. When all of the rounds are completed, and it has come down to the final two wolves that are fighting for the Halkin rank, it is now up to the Halamine on who she may chose. The two are to fight until the Halamine tells them to stop. Then she is to make a desicion on who will become her Halkin. Even if the strongest wolf wins, she may chose the other male because of some qualities that he presented during the duration of the fight. This is uncommon, but still possible. Usually the Halamine will only choose the strongest, but sometimes the strongest doesn't always win.

. . . learn the terms and common tongue. For your own benefit. It might be best to learn some of the terminology that Sorella frequently uses. Some may have never been heard of, while others can have another meaning elsewhere. It is suggested that you get it right the first time. . . . . . now, to move on. Suntip: Sunrise. Morning. Dawn. Sunhigh: Noon. Midday. The hottest part of the day. Lowtip: Twilight. Dusk. Sunset. Moonclaim: Nighttime. Any time of the day where the night has claim of the sky. Forsaken: Traitors of Sorella's Uncle's Pack. Any enemy of the Clan. more coming. . .
