. . . be sure to read this snippit of rules. It could save your future in the ranks. Understandibly, to keep order and control within the Corrazine Clan, there are certain rules to be made for the ranks. These are common terms, ones which should be met without even a second thought. Should someone disobey these rules, consistantly, they will be ignored, warned, demoted, etc. Be sure you will not be that someone. . . . . . now, to move on.- Rules of the Ranks -
[/li][li] You must never, ever beg for a rank. [/li][li] Any begging, ICly or OOCly, will result in an immediate demoting or rejection of acceptance. [/li][li] These ranks are earned ICly, unless specifically said so by the Halamine. [/li][li] The status on Auto-Acceptances is currently unclear. Do not ask until I have talked with Dawn. [/li][li] Auto-Ranking, once accepted, is possible. If you believe your character deserves an automatic rank upon joining, discuss it with the Halamine via PM. [/li][li] Your character's activity can reflect on the rank they will get/earn, so it would be best to notify the Halamine of any upcoming absenses. [/li][li] If your character leaves the pack, without reasons granted by the Halamine, their rank is lost. If your character returns, you will have to earn the ranks all over again. [/li][li] If you would like your character to earn a higher rank (or think your character deserves a higher rank), discuss it with the Halamine via PM. Do NOT make a ranting thread, ICly or OOCly. [/li][li] If you are making a character that you'd like to have a rank set out for them when they join the pack, contact the Halamine via PM for discussion. [/size][/font][/center]

[[The Rights Are Listed In Italics.]]Crown. [The Royalty] Halamine: She has the absolute power over the pack. No questions asked; her word is law. [[Any and all]] Halkin: This is the mate to the Halamine. He has only as much power as the Halkin appoints him on the night of his "Chausery" (victory) Ciplan: This is the Halamine-In-Training that is most likely the favorite offspring of the Halamine. She will be guided and taught by the Halamine and her court. She must be shown the utmost respect, and should the Halamine die, the Ciplan will take her place. [[Any, except overriding the Halamine's decisions]] Naits: The Naits are all of the offspring of the Halamine. They are to be shown respect, whether they are male or female. They will also be given another rank to meet their specific qualities.[[Any, except leaving Clan territory without permission, and overriding the Halamine's decisions]]Assembly. [/i] [The Grand Council][/center] Maske: The Maske is the head adviser and the over-seer of any decisions in the Court. He/She is personally picked by the Halamine and is usually a personal friend of hers. The Maske is the personal adviser to the Halamine. Also, he/she must be present at all rankings, and they will carry out the rank promotions should the Halamine be busy. This rank is of high importance and should be severely respected. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting, Demoting, Entrance into the Halamine's Den, Taking the Halamine's place with permission, Calling on Meetings, Leaving the territory with notice and reason]] Cansitan: The Cansitan is a member of the Court who provides the details when situations rise up. Consider this to be, well, the personal spy for the Assembly and Crown. He/she is expected to know about every member of the pack, and should be unbiased, unless Sor feels like being biased. When the Halamine has to review a trial or accusation, the Cansitan should inform her about all of the facts that can be relevant. Also, the Cansitan should be able to offer advice or information (that isn't secret) to any member of the pack. This is probably the most social ranks in the Council. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting, Demoting, Calling on Meetings, PM for potential others]] Patri: The Patri are probably the friendliest members of the Council. Unlike the others who are expected to be stern and emotionless, the Patri takes in any complaints that any of the lower classes has and presents it to the Council. They are to somewhat understanding, but also able to back up the Court and the Royal rankings when any kind of rebellion or complaining goes on. They should be very intelligent, able to see situations from all angles, and clever in their words because they are expected to speak for the Court to the lower class. They should be able to persuade the lower classes to what the Council and Royalty wants them to think and/or feel. There are usually 2 Patri, maybe one if he/she can handle the job well enough. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting, Demoting, Calling on Meetings, PM for potential others]] Torin: The lowest rank in the Court is the Torin. He/she is expected know everything about anything outside of the pack. When a new pack pops up in the Marshlands, the Torin is expected to know about the leader, his mate, whether they is bisexual, anything! Although this is the lowest ranking in the Court, it is an important rank none-the-less. The Halamine will often consult with the Torin about deciding which packs to make allies with, and which to condemn to be enemies. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting, Demoting, Leaving Clan territory, Calling on Meetings, Entrance into the Halamine's Den, PM for potential others]]Dignified. [The Respected] Grand Knights: The Grand Knights are the bodyguards to the Royal family. They must be quick and stealthy and strong. Whenever one of the Royal Family steps foot outside of the borders, or to go see a prisoner, there is always a Grand Knight either beside them, or standing close by. It is their responsibility to keep the Royalty safe. if they fail to do so, they will either be demoted to the Peasantry, exiled, or killed if it truly hurt the pack. Grand Knights also receive the task of patrolling the territory for new litters, daily. Should they find a litter, one that is not known, they are to call upon the Assembly and/or the Halamine. It is then time for them to step aside for the judgment of these pups to be made. Should their fate be sealed by means of blood, it is the Grand Knights' duty to carry the offspring into the Blood Grounds, where the Arms can use the pups as target practice. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting, Demoting, Calling on the Halamine or Assembly, Attacking and Killing with reason, Entrance into the Halamine's Den, PM for potential others]] Pseudans: The Pseudans are the psychologically-skilled amongst the Clan. They are most often used to seal up alliances, or when there is treachery or suspected treachery. Their job is simply to know how the mind works and operates. They are personally trusted by the Maske, and occasionally the Halamine. They must be able to twist and bend one's words to get what they are required to get. They should be able to manipulate one's mind into thinking what must be thought. They should be able to have complete control over anyone that they are sent to 'observe'. Though not common, it is possible for a Pseudan to have a cover-up rank, should their 'observation' prove to have deadly risks involved. Any Pseudan who is found to be brutally breaking down a member of the Clan that they are not assigned to will be dealt with swiftly and fiercely. These creatures hold a powerful weapon, and it must be monitored closely. [[Mating, Hunting, Attacking and Killing with permission from the Assembly or Crown, Leaving the Clan territory with permission, PM for potential others]] Magnate: The Magnate is in charge of keeping the Patrols. They are to keep the food supplies high, and to make sure that anyone seeking acceptance is thoroughly inspected and reviewed before allowed inside Clan territory. The Magnate is responsible for keeping the Patrols in shape, and is usually associated with the Hiltran to discuss spars and situations. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting within their Rankings, Demoting within their Rankings, Recruitment within their Rankings, Acceptance, Leaving the Clan territory on rank-related business, PM for potential others]] Infiltra: The Infiltra is the captain of the Sleuths. He/she is expected to be very wary, intelligent, quick, to the point, and reliable. They should be able to act on an instant's notice, and should be highly organized in setting up missions and trainings. It is up to the Infiltra to keep the Sleuths in shape; so if a Sleuth is slacking or fails a mission, it is blamed on the Infiltra. Therefore, the Infiltra must be wise in their judgments as to how to train certain Sleuths, who to assign to specific missions, and who should be booted off the rank. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting within their Rankings, Demoting within their Rankings, Recruitment for their Rankings, Leaving Clan territory on rank-related business, PM for potential others]] Hiltrans: The Hiltrans are the captain of the Arms. They are required to be blunt, loyal, quick, strong, and have a knack for kicking others into shape. They must plan out the formations and strategies for when the pack goes to fight, and are responsible for any mishaps that happen within the Arms. The Hiltrans are responsible to hosting the Arms training and recruitment, and should know when to boot a member off the rank before the Halamine has to. There are two Hiltrans, and one of them should be specialized in specifically keeping the Trigger Arms in shape. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting within their Rankings, Demoting within their Rankings, Recruitment within their Rankings, PM for potential others]] Kiare: The Kiare is the captain of the Herbalists in the pack. They should have an extensive knowledge of all the plants, toxins, and secretions available in the Marshlands. He/she should be compassionate, patient, organized, quick, and effective. There is rarely training for the Herbalists, but the Kiare should make sure that his/her pupils know how to react in certain situations. Recruitment is a requirement for the Herbalists, so the Kiare is in charge of setting up recruitment and following through with it. [[Mating, Hunting, Promoting within their Rankings, Demoting within their Rankings, Recruitment within their Rankings, Leaving Clan territory with permission, PM for potential others]] Amahs: The Amahs are required to care for any pups that are born, since the Halamine wants the mothers to continue with their jobs. Only females can be Amahs, obviously, and they should have a great deal of patience. They are to watch the pups through the day, feed them, and teach them the ways of the pack while everything else is going on. If the pack is under threat, the Amahs are required to take the pups to a secure place until notified otherwise. [[Mating with permission, Hunting, Entrance into all Dens, PM for potential others]]Task Force. [/color][/i][/font] [The Laborers][/center] Patrols: These are the scouts and hunters of the pack. They are to patrol, heh, the borders daily. It is also their responsibility to hunt and bring back food for the pack when needed. More often than not, the Magnate will probably send out raiding parties to the neutral lands in order to get food that the Clan cannot find here. They should be vigilant and alert, and should be quick with their movements. Should they spot an intruder, they should defend their territory by the means of teeth and claw. Should the threat turn to be more than they can handle, they are to call on the Hor Arms to aid them. Also, the Arms and Patrols are often set up for spars, to keep each other in tip-top shape. It is usually planned ahead of time by the Hiltran and the Magnate. [[Mating, Hunting, Leaving Clan territory with permission and reason, PM for potential others]] Sleuths: The Sleuths are the spies of the pack, and their rank is kept secret for obvious reasons. Whoever is appointed the rank of Sleuth will also be given a cover rank by the Halamine herself. Sleuths should be highly intelligent, clever, witty, swift, and blunt. They should know what to do and when to do it. Also, they are expected to be ready for a mission on a moment's notice, and they should be able to work together. [[Mating, Hunting, Leaving Clan territory with permission, PM for potential others]] Arms: The Arms are the soldiers of the pack. They are brutish and aggressive, loyal to their pack with their lives. They should be willing to die for their pack, and die they must if the situations comes down to it. They will undergo constant training to ensure that they are in the best of shape. [[Mating, Hunting, Attacking and/or Killing with permission and reason, PM for potential others]]
[/li][li] Hor Arms: These are the master soldiers of the pack. This rank is only held by biggest and strongest of members, for the security of the pack. These soldiers will deal with intruders, preform executions, and will assist the Arms in major battles. [/li][li] En Masse Arms: These are the majority of the fighters. These are the first to go out and fight for their pack, and the last to return. These Arms are often sent out on an ambush because of their sheer amount. [/li][li] Trigger Arms: The Trigger Arms are the stealthiest of the killers. These wolves are known to kill, and to kill only. When these creatures are sent out, there is no surrender option for their targets. A favorite rank of the Halamine, these rankees should always be in tip-top shape, because they can be called upon separately for individual and secret missions by the Royal Family. [[Leaving Clan territory with permission and reason]][/list] Herbalists: The Herbalists are the healers, and there are usually only about two, maybe three, Herbalists in the Clan. This way, since there really isn't a need for a lot of healers, the wolves with more potential can earn another rank instead. Herbalists are required to be patient and calm and reassuring. They should be very intelligent and great at solving problems. [[Mating, Hunting, Leaving Clan territory with permission and reason, PM for potential others]][/size][/font] Peasantry. [The Lower Class] Majority: This is the standard rank. Not much is expected, but the Halamine will require any Majority to at least try to gain a higher rank. If you stay at this rank for too long, she will get mad at you because you're just being lazy. Get into gear. [[Hunting, PM for potential others]] Inferiority: This is the ranks that all pups have until they are nine months old. Once they reach that age, they will become a part of the Majority rank unless they have a rank already cut out for them. [[Hunting, Shadowing the Dignified and Task Force with permission, PM for potential others]] Peasantry: The Peasantry is the absolute lowest rank possible. This is usually where demoted wolves are sent, or members who are under trial or suspicion of needing a trial. It is extremely hard to move up from this rank, and to do so will require some serious sucking up. If you do anything to upset or anger any member from the Dignified on up, then you will be exiled on the spot. This is a very dangerous rank. [[Hunting, PM for potential others]]Foreigners. [The Outsiders] Comrade: This is a single being who is at peace with the pack. This can be because they have pledged their loyalty, but reside elsewhere; are good friends with the Halamine, or have proved themselves worthy of such a rank. They are granted passage onto the pack's territory without harassment, but of course they must state their reasons for being there if asked. [[Each comrade has their own terms.]] Allies: Another pack who is at peace with the pack, almost always under agreed terms. Each Ally is granted specific different offerings depending on how the alliance was set up. [[Each alliance will have their own terms.]] Traitor: A traitor who has proved themselves a disgrace to the pack. This does not mean that they were once a part of the pack. A traitor could be someone from a highly-ranked member's past who is considered anything but welcome on pack lands. If they are spotted on the territory, a member has the right to kill them on sight. [[NONE]] Hostilities: Another pack who has proved themselves to be enemies of the pack. This can be solved by them challenging the pack and losing, their virtues disagreeing with the Halamine, or even if the pack doesn't like the other pack anyways. [[NONE]]
