HISTORY

• Brushfire's life before Alteron is a mystery - probably had something to do with the headache she had when she reached Alteron
  
• Arrived at the Alteronian borders, and decided to seek acceptance
  
• Rapier came, and was ready to end the recruit's life, due to Ru's kind and docile temperment
  
• Blade came in to save the day, and convinced Rapier that he could put this new recruit to use
  
• Rapier gave in, Brushfire was accepted, and she became Blade's new little pet
  
• Brushfire quickly realized how poorly suited she was for Alteronian life, and began to question whether or not she should stay
  
• As time passed, she found it more and more unlikely that she would ever leave, and decided to dedicate herself to her Sentry duties
  
• Rapier began to regret having accepted Brushfire, and found her cheerful attitude and diligence to be extremely irritating
  
• While patroling the borders and keeping up with her Sentry tasks, Ru came across a male named Ridge
  
• The two quickly bonded and became close friends, and Ridge began going out of his way to protect Brushfire from harassment - physical and verbal
  
• Eventually the two began "dating" in secret, not wanting to get each other in trouble
  
• Work eventually became more and more important, and as Ridge was sent away on missions, Ru noticed those missions strangely became longer and longer... because of Rapier
  
• Realizing that his disappearances were not going to change, Ru began to convince herself that she didn't need him as much as she thought she did, and went back to work
  
• To encourage Ru that she was working well and belonged in Alteron, Blade promoted her to Head Sentry
  
• Soon, she found herself working outside of Alteron territory, seducing rogues and canines from the Man Villages and bringing them back to Alteron (this earned her the title, Siren)
  
• Eventually, during one of Ridge's most prolonged absences, she met another wolf by the name of Ephidel. A kind a loving soul, one who could actually be there for her
  
• The two grew extremely close, though she refused to tell him her feelings, not wanting to potentially ruin everything
  
• After Ephidel vanished for a short amount of time, Brushfire soon learned that he had somehow been killed. Her world fell apart
  
• Brushfire secluded herself in her makeshift den near the borders, and mourned there for several months, unable to face reality. She had no one
  
• Stress and confusion overcame the she-wolf, and as she realized she wanted to become that fierce Siren she used to be, she could only question "how?"
  
• Sooner or later, she retreated from her seclusion, and made her way back from the borders to work, only to find she'd been demoted back to Sentry
  
• After having a pep talk with her best friend, Dagger, Brushfire felt that much more ready to continue life
  
• One rainy night, she reunited with Ridge, initially believing him to be a hallucination due to desperation
  
• A week later, wanting to see Ridge again, they talked and he revealed that he was expecting pups with Azuhel
  
• Crushed, devestated, Ru accused him of never loving her - of using her - and ignored his explanations. She attacked and scratched his muzzle, only to run off in tears
  
• After that, Ru's heart felt heavy, and she knew that it was now or never - she needed to become stronger
  
• She went to Blade to talk, and he praised her reactions, saying that she could not trust others like she could trust him
  
• Running into Swiftkill, a captive at the time, the two talked and Swiftkill offered advice - true love was not possible in these jungles, and Ru would be better off leaving Alteron
  
• Brushfire ran into Blade at the main river, and as Kiakime and another arrived, Ru told Blade who Kiakime was, only to have the ginger she-wolf boldly question how the Sentry knew such things
  
• A few weeks after that, Kiakime and Ru met once again, and somehow a fight was found necessary to settle their disagreements. Ru received a scratch across the muzzle
  
• Not much later, the Sentry came across a mentally confused she-wolf by the name of Ixion. This girl thought herself to be a boy, and Brushfire vowed to protect Ixion as though she were her own
  
• Brushfire stumbled across Talon, the broken soldier, and the two talked
  
• Soon after, the two ran into each other again, Talon seemingly more distressed. He revealed the fact that he'd found a mate and had pups
  
• Wanting to see if it was true, Brushfire set out to find these pups. Instead she found Nava, Talon's mate. Ru felt hurt by Nava's feral, defensive reactions to the Sentry
  
• A month or so later, she ran across Claymore, who had become broken down - physically and mentally
  
• Once again, Ru played therapist and offered her support. Claymore revealed how he had helped Scythe escape, and how he wished to follow
  
• Within a week, Cue's trial came around, and the whole pack gathered to see what would happen to those who let someone escape. Ru saw one of Talon's sons, Crisis, there
  
• Right after the trial, Brushfire went to find Ridge, hoping to make ammends (roleplay ongoing)
  
• Quickly setting out to find the rest of Talon's brood, the Sentry set off to make sure that all of the pups were real
  
• She came across Fateen, who happened to be on a mission to spy on Talon. The two reluctantly decided to team up in their efforts
  
• Almost instantly, the borders opened and without a Marquis, Blade oversaw the recruitment. Brushfire took great initiative and accepted the majority of the recruits
  
• During the interrogations in recruitment, Brushfire's thoughts to turn in Claymore and Talon's family were reaffirmed - the loyalty she'd vowed to her pack was greater than that of her loyalty to them
  
• Immediately after recruitment, Brushfire called to meet with Blade to tell him of these crimes
  
• Furious, Blade called for the King and Queen to hear the stories, insisting cruel, harsh punishments fr the traitors (roleplay ongoing, but she gets promoted here to Marquis)
  
• Brushfire runs into Talon, who needs her approval before he can regain his Soldier rank from Afzhal.
  
• Feeling guilty, all Ru asks of him is to gain rank and do whatever's necessary to keep himself safe (roleplay ongoing)
  
• Knowing that the Sentries have fallen behind, and she needs to prove herself worthy to have her Marquis rank, Brushfire sets up a Sentry recruitment (roleplay ongoing)
  
• Not too long after that, while relaxing near the borders, she notices someone escaping from afar
  
• Calling on for others to aid her, she races to find out it's Shiva, the ex-Reeve and an old friend
  
• Knowing she can't let her go, Brushfire attacks, only to have Shiva counter-attack and slash Ru just above the left eye
  
• Collide shows up and heads to help Brushfire, only to be stopped as Swiftkill comes in to help Shiva escape
  
• Almost instantly a hoard of blackbloods, those there from the Outlands to help Swiftkill escape, burst into the scene
  
• Confusion takes hold, and Brushfire attacks Swiftkill, having multiple reasons for wanting her to stay - Swiftkill's the only one to ever listen and help Ru, her first run as Marquis can't end in the prized Slave escaping, and Ru wasn't about to let another friend disapppear
  
• Swiftkill calls for Yellow, an Alteronian Soldier, to help. Seemingly brainwashed, the Soldier does so and launches at Ru, tearing her away from Swiftkill as the maroon blackblood tried to soothe Ru
  
• In midair, with Yellow aiming to pain Brushfire down, one of the blackblood Assassins came and tore Brushfire away from Yellow's clutch. It was Bloodrayne
  
• Having tried to attack Ru before, Bloodrayne wasn't going to let her go this time. Jaws clamped onto Ru's neck, and as she clamped down further, blood streamed and Ru could barely breathe
  
• Zodiac, another Alteronian Soldier, came in and rammed into Bloodrayne, stunning her long enough for Ru to rip herself out of the fatal grip.
  
• The Marquis stumbled onwards, weakened and bloodied and with unconsciousness threatening her as she tried to focus through blurry eyes to find Swiftkill
  
• Swiftly, Bloodrayne was able to come back and pin Brushfire down, her jaws reclaiming Ru's throat and squeezing until the Marquis could barely move
  
• It was then that the Assassin moved to break the Alteronian's wrist, ensuring her immobility, and before she could sink her fangs back into Ru's neck, she had passed out
  
• This didn't stop Bloodrayne, and she went in for the final blow. It was Claymore who stopped her, begging her to stop and for someone to take the unconscious Marquis with them as they escaped
  
• Nightfrost, another Assassin at the time, moved in and got Brushfire onto his back, and the wolves bolted through the chaos and headed back to the Outlands

OVERALL TO BE EDITED: Despite the reputation Alteron has for having the most ruthless, vicious wolves known, Brushfire is nearly the complete opposite. She is kindhearted, caring and sweet. She simply joined the wrong Pack. She's now been in Alteron for about two and a half years and has begun to develop a fake exterior to present to the other wolves in Alteron. She never questions the authority, though it is very obvious that the Queen hates her. She has remained in Alteron by the graces of the Prince and owing to her unquestionable loyalty. While she is forced to show a face that isn't herself, she is anything but fake. Brushfire's biggest flaw is her inability to stop caring - whether it is about new recruits, those who exchange harsh words with her, or the many wolves she's considered friends who have perished. But as times moved on, and her few friends helped her, she is slowly becoming stronger and stronger. She is devistated at the betrayal of Ridge, and so she feels that she hates him now. Deep down, she still loves him, and still wants him, but she's scared to be with him again. Scared of being hurt again. She's become a bit cold and more cunning after that, and now she's getting a little snippy with anyone who crosses her. Brushfire's reverting back. Slowly. But she still cannot restrain herself from her true nature.

Ridge - How was I supposed to react? You know I'd never wanted anything but you except your love... I'm not sure I even want that anymore... If you come back, I'll be there. But, for now, I've managed to make my own path and it's done me justice so far.
