Of all the kids, Iudex is the most reserved. Not shy, just lukewarm about socializing. He'd much rather just observe the goings-on instead of partaking. He's a very quiet individual, which will probably lead members of Imperium to think he is dull-witted, but this isn't true. He's a very bright child even at a young age, just not very social. Iudex is more of a lurker, watching how others interact with each other and what actions cause what reactions. He's fascinated with emotions, something he himself seems to lack, and is constantly trying to figure out why others laugh, cry, yell, and so on. He won't be particularly attached to either parent and tends to wander away from them rather often. He' frequently late to family lessons.

Iudex is still probably the quietest of his littermates, but at this point in life he actually starts talking, much to the relief of his parents no doubt. He will have become more open to interacting with the people he watches at this age. He starts to analyze others at this age, learning who is worth spending his time with and who he'd do better avoiding. He begins experimenting at this point too, doing different things to see how others react to him. He's incredibly curious about the psychological process and bent on learning what makes people tick. He has a very scientific outlook on his behavior at this point in time, seeing any misbehavior as merely a test and thus he shouldn't feel remorse for making someone upset. He's fairly unpredictable at this age thanks to his experiments: no one quite knows how he's going to act in a certain situation.

Having thoroughly studied the mind as an adolescent, the adult Iudex has become a master at manipulating the feelings of others. He knows exactly how to get a specific reaction out of someone and he uses this knowledge for both his own benefit and the benefit of the pack. He would likely make an excellent interrogator, causing such emotional stress that the questioned speaks just to make it all stop. He's still as stoic as ever in his adulthood, face remaining expressionless for the most part and only shifting from neutral when it's part of his act. He's become quite a good judge of character by this time, and his detachment from others allows him to make unbiased observations and decisions.
Berserk button: No true one, though this doesn't mean he doesn't go nuts at times. There's just no specific trigger for it, making it just that much scarier.
