Kyron wandered through the marshlands, looking for something or someone to spark his interest. He had been bored lately with nothing to do and no one to talk to. Sometime he wondered if there was anything interesting in the marshlands besides water and marshy land. Lately the land seemed to be void of life... well except for the stupid little animals that seemed to tease him everyday. Those little creatures were infuriating and he could not wait until he was rid of the nuisances. He wanted to travel to a pack where his skills could be put to use.
Kyron wanted nothing more than to be able to call a land his home. However, he would not just call any old land his home. Rather he wanted a place with power and order. A place that went by the name of El Dorado. Kyron had no desire to stay in neutral territory anymore. Now that he had killed the rouge wolf that had killed his mentor, he had no purpose for the lands. It was true that the mysteries of his childhood still vaguely intrigued him, but for now he would be content with not knowing. His siblings were most likely somewhere out there in the world and probably had no idea that he even existed. Or perhaps they had no interest in trying to find lost relatives. Whatever the case, Kyron did not was to waste his time for something that was futile.
He hoped to make El Dorado his new home, and he wasn’t ready to let anything get in his way. Kyron stopped before the border and let out a mighty howl to the inhabitants of El Dorado. He could be a great asset to the pack, or he could be its worst nightmare. It all depended on the inhabitant of the pack. It all depended on fate.

The female had been waltzing around the borders, laying down the scent markers to cover the rancid stenches of their previous owners. While she may have made an alliance with this Keep, she did not have to like them one bit. In fact, as far as the Captain was concerned, her loyalty would not be owed after she aided in the destruction of Almas Rotas. How could she have denied such a possibility? That pack, with their petty leader - Taramo - were dead to the blackblood mutt. Gaining land and securing his fall? Talk about two birds with a single damn stone. More like a boulder, if you thought about it.
But she wouldn't waste the time to do so.
Instead she picked up her pace, her fluffy tail waving behind her torso in a mixture of energy and exasperation. All the tendings that were due - setting up the terrain to her liking, letting in the worthy, damning the rest... all this was so unwanted to the female. All she hoped for was to have everyone in, BAM, just like that. Not everyone, exactly, but those who were destined to pull her pack up from the muck and into glory. Then again, how was she going to be able to distinguish those from the failures? Twitching her auds, Rita pursed her lips. Feminine intuition, perhaps? Her guts had rarely misled her, so why would she stop following them now? Puffing up her chest in her inextinguishable pride, the wolf lifted her head up as her paws led her further along the borders. So far everything seemed pretty empty - the last of the Marrains had moved their asses on out. About time.
The moment the howl was sounded happened to be the very moment her golden eyes rested upon his figure. She ignored the similar pelt tones and colorations, thinking it nothing more than a coincidence. But as she hastened herself over, her tail bouncing lightly as it raised itself high, her gaze slowly widened. The look of deep thought managed to make itself at home on Rita's face, and as she approached the brute, she slowed down. Childish glee replaced the contemplation, whether this gay attitude was fake or not, and the female gently hustled over to the side of the male.
"You..." Brother. Bastard. He was vaguely familiar, at first, though now she managed to connect the dots. Why the fuck was he here? She withheld her simmering growls, allowing the deception to illuminate. As far as he was concerned, she was just another new-instated alpha excited about a recruit. "I'm assuming you want to find a home here?" Otherwise you need to get out of here, and quickly. "I'm looking for followers. Strong followers, who can help and support me." She let one ear tilt down, her pupils dialating. Aww, pretty please? Help me? Support me? "Do you think you could be up for that?"
Do you?

The wait for someone to come greet him was short, and for that he was grateful. Waiting utterly pissed him off, and when he got pissed off things got very interesting. When Kyron got his first glimpse of the female that was walking around the lands of El Dorado, he did an instant double-take. There was no way that he was seeing this. This was completely and entirely unexpected. The color of her fur and the markings that her pelt had. It was none other than one of his lost siblings. Kyron laughed under his breath and stood tall. Now this changed things. Kyron was still interested in joining the pack, but the idea of having actual family members in this pack, now that definitely was a good cause to fully and utterly offer his support and loyalty. As the saying went after all ‘family comes first.’
He would not appear to his own sibling as a weakling. Kyron looked at his sister with curious and bright eyes. He had indeed noticed her eyes widen in recognition and the look of contemplation that had been on her face. She knew that they were related as well.
"You..."
Kyron could not resist laughing this time. His sister sounded so displeased to see him. He could not even begin to wonder the reason why. Could it be that Rita disliked her family for some unknown reason? ”Now dear sister, is that any way to treat your loving brother? After all he has finally just found you after all of this time.”
"I'm assuming you want to find a home here?" "I'm looking for followers. Strong followers, who can help and support me." "Do you think you could be up for that?"
Kyron looked at Rita with a serious face. ”I am indeed searching to find myself a home. To make El Dorado my home is my current goal. I would be more than willing to both help and support you my dear sister. No one will dare threaten any of my blood while I am still left standing.I swear that to you.” Kyron looked at her and then smiled softly. He had been with no family for a long time and he was not about to lose them once again. Nothing would stop him from making El Dorado a strong and mighty pack if that was what his sister desired. Family ties were of upmost importance to him.
No one in their right mind would ever dare challenge his family while he was still around.

As her body glided up towards his, her heart resisting the desire to race, she held her gaze. She wanted the upper hand here, as she would always want, but she could feel the air thinning. The tension seemed to disintegrate, and her hold on the situation began to crumble. If she could've, she would've dove right after it, trying to gather up the pieces and pasting them back together if it meant she would have control again. But as his eyes bore down unto her with the same look that she'd managed to slap down, a weight was thrown unto her shoulders.
Damn it.
The moment he stood tall, straightening out his posture, the Captain had half a mind to ram him over. He had no right to stand so confident - his fate still rested in her paws. And, for all he knew, she could very well send him off. Blood relations held little ties to this she-wolf, unlike most others. Only those she wished to bring into the world would she offer some sort of loyalty to, and seeing as this brute had been tossed in against her will, he failed to make the list. And now here he was, years after the two had separated, and he smiled at the sight of her. And laughed. A scowl would spread across her maw, ears flattening. What the fuck was so damn funny? The humor that he indulged himself in failed to make sense to the she-wolf.
"Now dear sister, is that any way to treat your loving brother? After all he has finally just found you after all of this time.”
Loving?
He had balls, damn fool. Inhaling deeply, she swept the scowl away and took on as much of a stoic face as she could. His childish behavior would not be encouraged here - the Captain would bite his jewels off before she'd allow such idiocy continue. A low growl would sound, making it perfectly damn clear that this was a serious matter to be tended to. And, almost instantly, he seemed to follow, his posture tensing and his face dropping the pup-like attitude. Good boy.
”I am indeed searching to find myself a home. To make El Dorado my home is my current goal. I would be more than willing to both help and support you my dear sister. No one will dare threaten any of my blood while I am still left standing. I swear that to you.”
Ahhh, now that's what the bitch just loved to hear. Undying loyalty, just the perfect key to a rising empire. With her auds perking up, her eyebrows raising to emphasize her interest in the words he spoke, she'd lift her paw daintily. Nudging him gently, her tail flickering, she'd 'hmph' approvingly. "As you should..." If he wanted to be a part of this pack, how else would he manage to be allowed in? Turning her sights from Kyron to the land ahead of her, her land, Rita would sigh deeply. "This land is mine," Obviously, "But I've heard of so much unrest within these parts. The dangers told in fables are real, here. Such real threats need real protection..." At that she'd turn to face him, as if egging him on to respond. And he'd better.
"I expect nothing less than the best from you."
A curt statement, truth as the fucking north star. She would not let him taint her bloodline with stupidity and incompetence.
[[ you're in~ but we can continue this if you'd like. ]]

Kyron looked down at his sister and sighed softly. ”I only laughed at the irony of the whole situation. I ran into one of my siblings that I never did hope to see again.” He wanted to make sure that he did not insult his sister after all of the time away from her. He knew that, family or not family, making a bad impression on the alpha of a pack was not a good choice. Kyron was not a foolish creature. He wanted nothing more than to prove him self to not only his sister but the pack of El Dorado as well. ”It has been a while since you have last seen me, but if you do not remember my name is Kyron.” He could not exactly remember hers, no matter how hard he thought about it.
He knew it began with an R... but that was about all of the knowledge that he possessed at the moment. Kyron glanced at his sister before scanning the area. Was it Rita? He thought for a long moment before deciding that Rita was indeed her name. For having not seen her for a couple years, that was pretty good for him to remember that. After all, he had met and learned many names since he was a pup. Kyron had also been through many difficult obstacles as well. But this was all part of any one person’s life.
"As you should..."
As Kyron turned his full attention back to his sister, her found that she was pleased by what he had said. Obviously loyalty was key to her, but this was not shocking for him to hear. Who wouldn’t be concerned about the loyalty of the members of a pack, especially an alpha. Rita had nudged him gently and Kyron took this as her sign of approval. He watched with curious eyes as his sister surveyed the land before them. When she sighed deeply, Kyron turned to look at the land as well. The land of El Dorado held promise. Promise that, with the right power and support, could grow into something even bigger than that.
"This land is mine," "But I've heard of so much unrest within these parts. The dangers told in fables are real, here. Such real threats need real protection..."
Kyron looked at Rita and narrowed his eyes at the idea of someone trying to harm the pack... the pack that he was now part of. He growled softly under his breath and turned his eyes back to the land. He would fight to keep his new pack and his long lost sister safe. No harm would come to them as long as he was still left breathing. ”You have no need to worry about anyone attacking you or El Dorado. I can promise you this my sister, no one dares challenge my home or my family while I am still left breathing. I swear to you, I will make the past years that I have not been there to protect you up to you ten-fold.”
"I expect nothing less than the best from you."
Kyron looked back at her and then looked away at the land. ”You will get only the best from me. Our bloodline will not be disgraced in any way, shape, or form while I still have a say about it.”
