The familiar scent wafted through the swamp air. Mixed with the scents of muddy water and slime she recognized the female wolf who she had come across just a recently. The blue female had challenged a formaly great pack for their lands but from the rumors that she had heard she hadn't done much fighting. Haggling, a truly worthy way of going about things, it was Verressa's second nature. She could respect a woman who strived for power and had the indecency to get it in any means necessary. She had followed her here... to her pack in hopes of joining herself.
A breeze blew over her dark face, the white and grey curls of her bangs pulling back as saphire eyes fell over the brown landscape. A pleased smile curled upright on her maw, grey tail swishing back in forth as she came to a halt. She was here. Upon first glace, Verressa was stunning. Her soft pelt was a charade of green and greys that slid over her feminine frame in a rather charming way. Sure she wasn't exactly average looking, but she wouldn't complain.
Lifting her narrow maw upwards, a song sprung forth from her vocal cords, calling to those who patrolled these borders. Her voice was liquefying, beautiful, intoxicated as she wished to lure anyone who could bring her in to what she was certain would be her new home. Let them come.

A male wolf walked the lands of El Dorado, waiting for someone to end his seemingly endless boredom. Kyron froze his wondering when he heard a beautiful noise coming from the borders. Turning his head in the direction of the song, he tilted his head. The person that let out that song was most definitely female. He laughed softly and started towards the border. Just his luck. So far the only acceptance that he had traveled to was one of a female. How fitting that his second meet with a wannabe new member would be yet another female. Once he was close to the border line, Kyron looked out and saw the green and gray pelt of the female that wanted acceptance. He stood tall as he approached her, glancing at her curiously. ”Who might you be? Are you here to ask for acceptance to El Dorado?”
He would wait for her answer, and then continue with his questioning. ”What do you have to offer this pack? Are you skilled at hunting? Or perhaps you are a healer or a fighter? Whatever it is, state it and let it be known.” Kyron would wait for these answers before doing anything else. One thing was for sure though, this female was not lacking in the looks department. Not that Kyron would ever let anyone know that he was thinking this. His loyalty to his sister would always come first. He would not let a female get in the way of that.

Verressa watched, her song finished, as a blueish male strode towards her, head held high in confidence she assumed as he made his way towards her. She eyed him up and down momentary, a quick flip of her eyes that took every in of him in as he stopped in front of her. He was hansom, she'd give him that, but she wasn't here to flirt with the locals, unless of course that was what it took to get her accepted. ”Who might you be? Are you here to ask for acceptance to El Dorado?” He asked, looking down upon her. A warm smirk fell upon the girls features, not of belligerence but still a smirk non the less as she spoke,"Hello." She said, her voice soothing as if she was purring, "My name is Verressa, I am indeed here for acceptance." She noted how the male hadn't given his own name however decided against asking as she couldn't have really cared less. This wasn't a time to make friends she had her own goals in mind.
”What do you have to offer this pack? Are you skilled at hunting? Or perhaps you are a healer or a fighter? Whatever it is, state it and let it be known.” At his first question Verressa wasn't surprised but instead of throwing on the dramatics, she laid it too him straight. "I am very smart." She said as a matter of fact but in all honesty, "I am a very good judge of character and know how to use my skills and even my body to get what I want. I am very quick on my feet and am a woman of stealth along with goals. I am agile and a good fighter and very determined. I have a tactile mind and I am very good with..." she let the word trail off as if she were struggling for the next word but then smiled once again as she spoke it, "Words." She had revealed herself, at least some of herself now it was up to this male to judge her. However if he was looking for the "pure" of heart he wouldn't find it here. Not that she thought he was, as his leader did not seem to be. To be frank, it seemed that the leader of these lands and her shared a similar mindset and away of doing things. It was that fact alone that had brought her here and would render her loyalty. But was it enough for this guy?

"Aaand?"
Creek Dancer busted onto the scene, curly mane bouncing in her trot. The purple-brown mare spared a glance to Kyron. Her attention quickly returned to the pretty little she-wolf. Smart? What was that supposed to mean. Judge of character was good, though she wondered how one who "used their body" would be a judge of character. Pot calling the kettle black, or something.
"If you're so smart, answer me this! What hides the sun, hoards water, and brings winter storms? It is unknowable even to the birds!" She knew the last bit for a fact, because she had met several young, broken birds who had mistakeningly tried to land on this thing. Surely this wolf didN.t know what it was.
Maybe the horse should feel bad about barging in on this he-wolf's acceptance. Maybe he should do something about it. Cocky mare.

(( Thank you X) ))
The sudden appearance of the mare was a surprise to Verressa however she kept it completely hidden from her features. She walked in talking, sounding confident and cocky, "Aaand?" She said stopping in front of her. She obviously wasn’t impressed with her, but Verressa honestly didn’t care. She, at least was being honest, which wasn’t something everyone could say.
"If you're so smart, answer me this! What hides the sun, hoards water, and brings winter storms? It is unknowable even to the birds!" The mare was miss-understanding her. By no means did Verressa mean that she was scholar smart. She was street smart. “You miss understand me. I am not a scholar.” She said clarifying; however she would answer her question. She took a moment to think about it before a speaking, “However I will answer your question. Is it a cloud?”
She wasn’t sure if she was right or not, but it seemed logical enough. She looked up at the female horse, waiting on her reply. She didn’t seem worried or anxious or overly concerned. She just remained calm, wondering if she were right. However if she was wrong, she wouldn’t be too upset about it.

Oh. Street smart. She knew what that meant, even though she had rarely seen streets. "Well, that's not really smart," the horse blurted out, sassy as ever, "that's just not being too dumb to live. Cunning, if you're exceptional." The horse doubted that, somehow. Cocky cocky cocky.
"But yeah, it's a cloud." The horse walked over to the wolf. She brought a hoof up and would give the wolf a sudden nudge if she wasn't prepared. "How good are you with your body? You're kinda... hairy." Of course, the horse was being hypocritcal. The wolf had around the same amount of hair as the mare did. Oh well. The dun was in charge, the lime green thing would just have to prove she could handle it.
"You got an accessories?"

"Well, that's not really smart," The mare blurted out, quickly adding something before Verressa could say anything, "that's just not being too dumb to live. Cunning, if you're exceptional." Verressa shrugged easily, not offended but secretly thinking that such a belief was rather naive of the horse. “There are many different forms of smart.” She said simply. This horse was definitely cocky, but she wouldn’t start sassing off because she needed this mare to let her in.
"But yeah, it's a cloud." She then said and Verressa couldn’t help but smile slightly. So she had been right ay? Well then she guessed she wasn’t that dumb after all. "How good are you with your body? You're kinda... hairy." At this, Verressa chuckled slightly, amused because really it was a funny statement. She was hairy wasn’t she? Well she hoped she was, after all she was an animal. She looked up at the female horse, meeting her eyes practically oblivious to the male who had come earlier, “I guess you can say I’m just in touch with my feminine charms. But really? I thought all the fluff made me pretty.” She mused good naturally. Her tail twitched slightly as the mare then asked something else. "You got an accessories?" The female wolf shook her head, “Nope, at least not yet.”

Different forms of smart. Yes, um-hm. There were different kinds of smart like there were different kinds of strong. At the end of the day, one got the job done and the rest were all novelty. The judging wasn't upt o her, the horse supposed; life would deal its own trials. If the she-wolf flunked, Creek Dancer would only laugh arrogantly.
The horse nodded. "Yes, you're pretty." The mare tossed her own mane, as if they were in some beauty parlor trading secrets. "Hair really adds to it, hm?" Silky smooth scene hair--or whatever the wolf had, and the "sophisticated" curly mane of the horse. Classy classy, or something.
No accessories? Well. Wait--how did she know she would get some. The horse gave a sharp look to Kyron, wondering what exactly he had blabbered. "... what'd ya' mean about "not yet"?" The horse's disposition quickly left the almost jovial nature it had held earlier. The she-wolf better answer well, or she was about to get stomped.
Creek Dancer was quite sure Rita wouldn't appreciate spies. Or whatever this pretty little pound of flesh was. "Answer quickly."

"Yes, you're pretty." The mare replied flipping her mane for a moment before continuing, "Hair really adds to it, hm?" Verressa smiled in responce. After all beauty wasn't everything, it was just a little something extra that some were gifted with. This mare for example, Verressa found pretty as well. But then the horse's position change and she looked annoyed, speaking as if the green and black female was of any threat to the pack, "... what'd ya' mean about "not yet"?"
Verressa looked at her oddly, for a moment however answered her quickly as she commanded."...Your alpha, she has accessories? I was there, when she challenged for these lands and I believe I remember her with some pendants. I simply ment that it would be cool to have some as well." Did the mare really honestly think she was some sort of threat? I mean because if she did she was wrong. She didn't expect her to trust Verressa right off the bat but she wasn't here to cause trouble. Only for acceptance.

Oh. She had been here before the pack had been a pack. Okely-dokely. The mare's position went back to the happy, casual manner it had been before. Creek Dancer had this odd tendency to take what others said at face value; after all, punishment wouldn't be too unreasonable to bring about if they proved liars.
The horse turned around, smiling at the she-wolf. "That'd be Captain Rita. Sorry 'bout that. Didn't know you'd been here before. Was just tryin' to make sure you weren't, well, you know." The words were velvet soft and the horse's eyes almost twinkled. Those things which were necessary and forbidden--those with short lives but immortal value. Spies, traitors, snakes in the grass. All those wonderful, glorious things that she could be. But, if she was from the outside, that was bad. Always bad.
But she wasn't. "Hm. You might get some accessories. It'll be a while, though." Walking into the swamp's solid land, the horse lifted a large, waxy leaf. Filtered light, smokey because of the fog, came though the flora. "You're accepted. Welcome to El Dorado."
