===============================
Personality: Shinshoku is a vile spirit. Cold hearted, he often mocks others and uses sarcasm. As a child, Shoku was a natural bully, stealing food from the weak and pushing over the ones smaller than he. Thick headed and proud, he never listened to what anyone thought him and thus, grew up with no knowledge on how to bathe, hunt, or even survive on his own. Though he is now more mature and aware of the world around him, Shinshoku is still sour and dark minded. If only, he's learned to pick his fights a little better. He now wouldn't hesitate to beg or flatter another, if they proved themselves to be of some use to him.
===================================
History: Originaly born in the lands of Nardir, Shinshoku was the biggest pup of a litter of 6. His mother, a delicate figure, had encountered difficulties in carrying the large brood that were he and his unborn siblings. A poisonous plant voluntarily eaten by their mother had caused their birth to be prematured, causing half of the litter's death. (But had the pregnancy gone all the way, both the mother and the whole litter would've most likely died.) Shinshoku remembers barely anything about Nardir. As soon as the pups had opened eyes and were able to walk or stumble, their mother had forced them on the dangerous journey towards the deserted oasis. Shoku grew up in the outlands with his two siblings, his mother and his adoptive father.
While growing up, Shinshoku was a constant source of worry and trouble for his mother, as well as his siblings. He would never listen to anything that was told to him and would benifit from other's misery as often as he could. His favorite target for trauma was his younger brother Kritaxius. But often, his other brother, Sasori, would take the abuse instead to save his sickly brother some trouble. When the brothers reached a year old, they were given the talk from their mother and sent away from the den. Shinshoku was furious. All his life, she had served him and now she was banishing him from his own home? The hate that the devil child had brewed for the gentle soul that was his mother exploded and he attacked her in a fit of rage. It was in that moment that he was met with his brother Akaika, older by a few years, born of another litter. The experience shook the young wolf and it was with widened eyes that he heard the crimson beast say that should he cross his path again, he would kill him. Not asking for his penance, Shinshoku ran for his life, never to look back to his mother or his shocked siblings.
As best as the young wolf tried to stay away from the beast that was his brother, they once again met in the heart of the Oasis. Knowing that he faced his death, the yearling ran away as fast as he could but he couldn't flee fast enough to escape the red blurr. Once caught, Shoku attempted to fight back but the efforts were so futile that they brought laughter to his brother's jaws. In a flash of anger, similiar to the one he had almost unleashed upon his own mother, the yearling was taken down and tortured. Sharp fangs were run against his face, ripping flesh and scraping bones. Though his yells turned into screams, the red beast told him that only the empty desert would meet his plea. No one came and the red jaws of death came in an embrace around his throat. When blood covered his face, chest and started to fill his mouth, Shinshoku thought he would die. But then... unexplicably, the crimson wolf released his death grip and ordered him to leave. First unable to gather his strenght and shaking from the fear, the yearling was unable to move... when his red brother snarled a second warning, he knew it would be his last and managed to stumble away, running as far and as long as he could before collapsing in a world unknown to him.
Shinshoku survived the mauling he had received but never thought of returning to his desert home. There, he knew the unforgiving jaws of the crimson beast awaited him and a sure death would follow would he choose to return. Having lost the use of his right eye and having never really learned anything from the lessons given to him, Shoku found it hard to find game and learned to hunt by himself with much difficulty. He now wanders the lands, trying to survive.
