History;;
[/li][li] Born second out of a litter of 4, with two other sisters and one brother, in a nomadic Man Tribe.
[/li][li] Was traded to another Tribe, as was custom to these groups.
[pups are seperated as soon as possible & traded off for goods][/li][li] Knowing neither her parents nor her siblings, her life was oddly blissful at first as she enjoyed her childish puppy life.
[/li][li] Started training at around 6 or 7 months to become a working 'dog', mainly as a one-wolf sledder.
[/li][li] This warped her mind into becoming very work-orientated, as her intake of food relied on the quality/quantity of her work accomplishments.
[/li][li] Quickly accelerated to becoming the most favoured work 'dog', earning her the prized spot closest to the fires at night.
[/li][li] Despite this accomplishment, she frequently gave up this warm spot for the weaker or sicker working animals.
[/li][li] Continued life as she knew it to be, with very few distractions and many proud accomplishments.
[/li][li] A little after turning one year old, she came down with an unknown ailment, pulling her from her work.
[/li][li] After a week or so, the concern directed towards her soon became disappointment and impatience. She lost many of her prized privileges as a result.
[/li][li] With the reason given being her well-being, Kali was placed into isolation, though she felt it more of a punishment than anything.
[/li][li] During this secluded time, tied up, the female began to familiarize herself with the plants and their capabilities.
[/li][li] She began experimenting with herbs, flowers, barks, and various other plants - she was desperate to resume her working life.
[/li][li] After suffering several mishaps, some that incapacitated her for days at a time, she eventually found a cure. Wormwood and Cranberries.
[/li][li] Her recovery was noticed a few days later, and she returned back to her work.
[/li][li] However, her position as a one-wolf sledder had been replaced, and she was sent to work in another field - hunting and tracking.
[/li][li] Quickly adapting to her new job, Kali's muscles tightened and slimmed, wrapping themselves firmly around her core and legs. This aided her in long runs and quick getaways.
[/li][li] Though she wasn't the best at hunting large prey, at least not on her own, she proved herself excellent at tracking and racing down smaller, quicker prey.
[/li][li] Her success was incredible, and her fervent hunting led to an increase in food supplies and furs/bones to trade off.
[/li][li] As a result, Kali was chosen to temporarily retire to become a Breeder. This was just before she turned the age of two - extremely young for a Breeder.
[/li][li] Her mate was chosen from a different Tribe, ensuring a diverse range of breeding potential. His name was Mariki, a kind yet stern Arctic/Blackblood mutt.
[/li][li] Unsure as what to think of this stranger, Kali originally paid little mind to this male as he first entered the camp.
[/li][li] However, after the breeding, this male proved to be a tender, loving mate, and was always there to support, comfort, and socialize with Kali. Her young and malleable heart saw this as true love.
[/li][li] Growing more attached to her assigned mate, Kali convinced herself that it was her subconscious that chose him, and the humans' decision was mere coincidence. She vowed that their family would grow up strong, and nothing could separate their love and concern for one another.
[/li][li] She gave birth to her litter shortly after turning two years old, and the two new parents were left alone for a good week or so to tend to the pups.
[/li][li] Kali and Mariki named the pups after a few days - Korth(m), Marina(f), Willie(m), and Otim(m).
[/li][li] She grew to be an extremely protective, loving, and almost entranced mother. The raging hormones, and her young age, caused her to obsess over the pups more than a usual mother would - she wouldn't leave them alone.
[/li][li] Unfortunately, she had overlooked the common tradition that the Tribe upheld - all pups are seperated from their families and traded off.
[/li][li] Overnight, no more than 1 month after the pups were born, they were taken away while Kali lay asleep next to Mariki.
[/li][li] She awoke in the morning, panic and adrenaline storming through her body as she frantically searched through the camp for them, ignoring Mariki's pleads for calm.
[/li][li] Learning later that day that her pups had already been traded off, Kali went into her berserker rage - snapping and snarling at anyone who came too close to her.
[/li][li] In this rage, she injured several humans, drew blood from three work animals - including Mariki - and destroyed one tent and a handful of supplies. Little did she know that this crazed rage triggered the start of her Schizophrenia, which will soon present itself and play a role in her everyday life.
[/li][li] Rather than calming down afterwards, Kali ran and ran, desperately crying out for her babies to come back to her. No response.
[/li][li] Calmed down, or rather exhausted, the she-wolf continues to travel alone, fervently searching for her pups and lost in her hormone-enraged mind.
