A slight stroll in the outlands always proved to be somewhat of an adventure for the fat warrior-trainee. He barked a new greeting at Mothdust every time he saw her, and wagged his tail proudly when he would pass the pups, as they whispered of him being so big and strong(only in his mind; they were saying lay off the rabbit fat ugly), & he kept trodding on proudly with his head held high, his tail wagging back and forth in a slwoly controlled manner.
Now, where was that sly fox of his?
" Ohhhhh Miss-Eveeeeee. My little birdykins! "
He howled out into the night, as he sniffed expectantly wherever she may be. Her den? Nope. The council area? Nuh-uh. Not even the training-ditch? No way yo'.
Now he was getting a bit frustrated. A snort escaped him, as he seemingly checked everywhere for his lovely sweetheart. He had some new lines he was just dying to try on his little collie-bird with her pretty little collar. His tongue lolled expencantly from his mouth. He was probably just horny after all. Mating season was hitting full-swing on him. He paced eagerly back and forth in front of her den, wondering where his sweet little bird could have gotten off to.
Hildeguard let out a puffed sigh, & sat down his rear, flattening the grass with the under-area of his muzzle, and nipping at the swaying leaf-blades with boredom. Oh joy happy night. Booooring.

She'd put on weight, and she despised it. She worked hard to keep her body in shape, to make herself prepared to run a few feet or a few miles; now all of that hard work was being sabotaged by the little fetuses in her stomach. Of course she knew she was pregnant - she wasn't oblivious to the world. Even so, it disappointed her a little bit. She hadn't expected to have children this early in her life, much less by some sexual fling. Perhaps the guy thought it was love; to Eve, it had been a slight mistake on her part. No doubt that Hildeguard had good genes, and would probably provide excellent children. No, that wasn't what worried her. It was just herself that caused her a little bit of irritation; she was small, young, and inexperienced in the ways of birth and raising children. Hell, she was barely an adult herself! Could she survive the birthing process? What if she did something wrong and it hurt her children? What would this do to her duties as beta? Anyone could see by the extremely worried expression on the golden girls face that something was plaguing her like nothing should plague anyone. She had to wonder if that was how it was with every new mother - constant worrying and hating the world as a whole. She began to grit her teeth, and then she heard something pop that made her jump. Soon after, she felt like a complete idiot. She had forgotten the brown rabbit hanging limp from her jaws. She'd caught it a while ago, but instead of eating it, had simply held it and gotten lost in her thoughts, seemingly forgetting about the meal. She'd popped its little back, and a steady stream of blood flowed into her mouth from puncture wounds in the rabbits stomach. It made her even hungrier, but eating out in the desert in the middle of the night just didn't feel like a good idea. So the golden beta urged her body upward and picked up a light, steady trot, making her way to the Oasis and, more specifically, her den. God she just wanted to go home, eat and get some rest. That was all she wanted to do anymore - eat and sleep, and complain. Then that all-too-familiar singsong voice drifted over to her, and she sighed lightly, laying her ears back against her skull. Great, just what she needed, Hildeguard! Mixed emotions came up at his name - love, hate, affection and distaste. She supposed the moodswings came along hand in hand with pregnancy. Did he know yet? Was he aware that he was going to be a father? That was less than likely, Eve thought with a roll of her seagreen eyes. He was pacing outside of her den, like a blockade of fat and muscle and black. As she continued to near, Hildeguard howled out, and then plopped himself down in front of her homestead. The girl slowed her pace, a little unsure of what to say to the male, or how to tell him. Bluntly, and quick - that was how she'd do it. Ah yes, quick and fast - like she was ending the life of her sociability with the pack. Inwardly she chided herself for such a thought. All she was doing was having puppies, that didn't mean she was going to have to sever all ties with the outside world! Eve expected the big male to say some pickup line, or to inquire on whether or no the rabbit could be shared. More than likely, she'd horde the damn thing, seeing as she had more than one mouth to feed, but that was to be determined. She stopped maybe two feet away from Hildeguard, sitting down and letting the rabbit fall to the ground before her. For a moment she stayed silent, staring at the dusty rock floor beneath them. Then her gaze drew itself up to stare steady at the male, one brow raising slowly. "So Hildeguard.. " Quickly, quickly, quickly! she reminded herself then. "I'm having your kids."
