His personality is arrogant. Lance is quite possibly the most arrogant child you'd ever come into contact with. He's too good for anything, and trying to make him understand that his arrogance is wrong is just like nailing jello to a tree - it's impossible. Despite this haughty nature of his, Lance has a good head on his shoulders and is obedient when it's needed of him. Ever grateful to Sin and Grady for taking him in, he's the most obedient to them, doing what they ask of him to the best of his abilities. Ah, yes, that brings up another fine point; Lance is an athlete, a perfectionist, and definitely a determined young boy. He's the 'do it or die trying' type, always putting his entirety into the few things he actually sees as worthy of his efforts. So basically, he's an arrogant jerk, but if he respects you enough, you've got one great friend on your side.
Manners is also something that this boy is lacking in. He's very rude, often mocking the efforts of others and belittling them whenever he has the chance. As a boy, it's just teasing and being mean, but as he grows he'll be able to channel that rudeness into a positive thing, ironically; he'll push others around and be hard on them until they push back, and do their very best. It will be his own little training for others. Now, though, he's still a youthful boy who's just out to get someone and be mean.
As an adult, Lance will grow into a more silent type of guy. He'll still maintain his rude nature, however; when he will talk, it will still be basically spitting on the name of those around him. Still, when he's older and has more understanding of what he's doing, he'll contemplate many different ways to push others to their limits, to harden them and give them strength. All in all, he's like a diamond in the rough.
Although he will never fully accept Sin and Grady as his parents, he doesn't bare any hatred toward them; only love, for the fact that they took him in when they didn't have to. The show of compassion was something he thinks that he'd never had before, seeing as his parents just shoved him away. Oftentimes he'll be found moping, wondering why he had been given away so easily - did his parents hate him? Was he defective? Secretly, he thinks there was something wrong with him, but he masks this with a display of his arrogance, saying that he gave his parents up instead of vice versa, because he was too good for them.[/sup]
Take off your disguise. I know that underneath.
His history is pretty bland. Lance was born alone with his mother and father in the Ancient Forest. He doesn't really remember much about it or his parents. All he does know is that somehow he wound up being in the company of Sin and Grady. Sin says his parents just handed him to them and wanted him gone. So he accepted that and over the time it took traveling with them he grew very attached to the Wolf-Dog and began to think of her as his mother, but in the back of his mind he knew she wasn't and never was going to be.
